Gillot Fromagerie was born in 1912 on the site it has occupied for a century in the heart of the Ornais Bocage. Six families have come together to live the real Norman cheese of tradition. Normand Lait milk is collected within a radius of 25 km and follows a path as demanding as monitored before being transformed into a PDO Pie. The quality of this milk is the result of close collaboration between the producers and the cheese factory.

Our friendly wine merchant has a passion for wine - wines - and also for beers, calvados, ciders, pommeau... Jean-Philippe loves good things. A pleasure that he shares with his customers for a tasting. He will know how to scare whisky lovers with his references from all over the world and seduce the unconditional fans of home brewed beer. His little touch: he doesn't pack the bottles in a box, but in a "bourriche"! That's a nice touch! Moral, if you come across a crate...

On the Vexin plateau, Laurent Riault has developed an original speciality: ice creams and sorbets, with a choice of traditional or frankly original flavours, and above all superb quality. Handcrafted with milk from the farm's cows, without coloring agents or preservatives, a perfect smoothness and surprising flavors, so many assets to delight the taste buds of gourmets young and old!

Opened a few months ago on Rue au Blé - and easily recognizable with its white front - this pretty boutique has become a haven for spirits enthusiasts. Hundreds of references are on offer here, from whisky to the most unexpected spirits, and you'll be advised by Thomas, who also runs the cocktail bar nearby. Many of the spirits on offer are the result of the team's relentless research: nuggets waiting to be discovered.

Don't worry, there is also sweetness: chestnut, gingerbread, violet, speculoos, rum-raisin, chocolate... Alain, pastry chef, also creates sorbets for diabetics, gluten-free sorbets and tailor-made ice creams. Guaranteed without colouring or preservatives, made from fresh fruit and good milk from the farm, his ice creams are on the menu of the best tables in the region. The farm is also open to visitors!

This excellent house in the south of France does not lack resources. And for good reason: the Maison Le Blanc offers a whole range of excellent products, from ham on the bone to pâtés and, more rarely in the area, andouillette and andouille de campagne. The Maison Le Blanc, named after Thierry, the master of these productions, can be found in Saint-Martin-de-Landelles or Saint-James, as well as on the local markets. The whole is obviously labeled Manche Terroirs, rewarding the quality of the productions.

It's one of the largest wine cellars in the whole department. Housed in a 500^m2 facility, La Cave de Tom invites you to discover over 1,300 references of wines, beers, spirits, ciders, whiskies, quality juices, as well as a fine selection of gourmet products. It's the perfect place if you're looking to treat yourself or others. The establishment regularly organizes tasting evenings and themed workshops. And don't hesitate to ask the wine merchants for advice: they're real enthusiasts and will be delighted to guide you.

Quentin Rambaud, a young 24-year-old pastry chef, has opened this tempting store. Here, it's a return to simplicity, no more fuss and too many ingredients. No more than three flavours in his cakes and it's perfect. We like the Paris-Caen, which made the success of the address, a gourmet alliance between the macaroon and the famous Paris-Brest. The Pavlova and the Madagascar vanilla flan are sweets to be tested urgently! We also like the fast execution of orders and the idea that in the nice days the ice creams will be part of the party!

In this beautiful store in the historic district of Rouen, you will be well received and will find a hundred varieties of Dammann and Compagnie Coloniale teas, bulk coffees and compatible pods, as well as very beautiful spices, including very high-quality peppers. In the sweets section, you will have a choice of traditional Norman cookies, Cluizel, Dolfin, and Monbana chocolates, honeys and jams voted "best in the world", which you can make into gourmet baskets. And for the passionate, workshops of discovery are proposed.

In a pretty cobbled lane, one of the oldest in Lisieux, a ^15th-century building houses Chocolaterie Mérimée, which celebrates its 14th anniversary in 2024. The exterior is just as magnificent as the interior. Gourmets will find what they're looking for. After a spell at Lenôtre, Emmanuel made his dream come true and opened his own chocolate factory, much to our delight. Here, everything melts! You can also enjoy an old-fashioned hot chocolate in the tearoom. An address we can't recommend highly enough.

After several years in Gratot, a few kilometres away, Captain James is now in Agon-Coutainville, joining a larger space to develop his activities. These are well known locally: the brewing of beers, which come in all colours: white, blonde, red and brown, not forgetting IPA, with its distinctive aroma. You can find them on site from Thursday to Saturday, or at the Coutainville market. You can also visit the premises on the first Saturday of each month. Note that bottles are returnable.

The Maison Jehan offers many products based on the emblematic fruit of Normandy, the apple, but also the pear. Legitimately labelled "Manche Terroirs", these products are true marvels made in the rules of art. Cider, pommeau, calvados and also perry, a pear-based product of which the south of Manche and the west of Orne are the main producers, are available. The youngest will also appreciate the excellent juices. During the summer season, the store is open near the parking of the Mont.

Opened for more than a year, this pretty store with a red front is run by Patricia Lengronne, who had the nice idea to offer to the people of Granville, and to those who come from further away, products from Madagascar. Vanilla, of course, as the name indicates, but also spices in quantity and quality, chocolates, arranged rums and even fruits and vegetables. You will also find a small area of West Indian products, making Epices et Vanille a real Ali Baba's cave of a thousand delights.

Located in Sainte-Marie-des-Champs, Inter Caves is a modern chain of stores specializing in the sale of wines, champagnes and spirits. This passionate and committed wine merchant offers a vast selection of products, with over 550 wine and champagne references, 80 Réserves à Vin®, 450 whiskies, rums and spirits, as well as 150 craft beers and casks, and 100 delicatessen products. The store also offers a range of services, such as trunk loading, home delivery, equipment rental (draught taps), festive event organization, tasting evenings and customized gift boxes.

Cidre Fournier is a family story that began in 1943 and has grown steadily over the decades to the point where production is now present in no less than 15 countries. Apple and pear trees flourish on the sunny hillsides. At the boutique, after a short tasting, you can buy cider, apple and pear juice, apple sparkling wine, perry, calvados... directly from us. The house offers no fewer than 70 cider references, including a fine organic range.

The estate nestles at the bottom of a small valley, so emblematic of the Pays d'Auge. Enjoy the scenery along the way. It's here that Nathalie and Jean-Luc Olivier devote all their time to tending their apple and pear orchards, producing cider, pommeau and calvados that have been certified organic since 2000. Of the 44 hectares of orchards, 30 are "high-stemmed". The tour includes an introduction to cider-making, and the store offers a variety of ciders, perries, pommeaux and calvados! Two gîtes are available to rent for a nature break.

The Hérout family's property is composed of orchards of selected cider apples certified Organic Agriculture. It is in the respect of traditional cultures, with 100% organic productions, that a unique cider is produced here, benefiting from the PDO Cidre Cotentin, and developed according to several exceptional vintages. That's not all, here we also produce pommeau and calvados, also among the best in the whole region, as well as fruit juice and vinegar. The place is well worth a visit.

You can't visit the cider factory's production facilities, but you'll be warmly welcomed here. Francis Dupont's Cidrerie de la Brique has come a long way since it was founded in 1953. The nectars are made from apples (and pears) harvested in Cotentin orchards planted with traditional, high-stemmed apple trees and more recent, low-stemmed apple trees of carefully selected varieties. In addition to cider, you'll find pommeau, poiré, organic apple juice... and a 33 cl format called La Brick.

A child of the apple, as he puts it. At the head of a 24-hectare orchard where numerous varieties of apples grow, mainly from Normandy and particularly from the Perche region, the owner and cellar master will be delighted to introduce you to the art of cider making. What's more, you'll be able to tour this 60-hectare farm in true Percheron style. This is a highly courageous undertaking for this young man from Orne, who created his cider house from scratch in 2009 (and has already won gold and bronze medals at the 2011 Saint-Jean des cidres). Planting apple trees, setting up the cellar, making a name for himself, establishing a place for himself in the business (he also sells his apples to the Agrial cooperative) and, at the same time, working towards the arrival of the AOC "Cidre du Perche" label, this is already Grégoire's gamble and path of faith. Not forgetting Juliette, who helps him in his task. Don't you just love young people? So, a refreshing stop-off is obviously welcome in these parts, where the semi-dry and brut cider (typical of the Percheron region, naturally fermented) will quench a passing thirst and liven up some family festivities. Poiré, apple juice, calvados and pommeau, cider and apple jellies are other highlights of the house. The company also likes to share its know-how at open-house events. In spring, for the "Bienvenue à la Ferme" operation, or at harvest time in November. So if you're passing by in autumn... Come and pick your own apples!

When in 1992, Michel Galmel took over this 17th-century farm a few kilometers from Giverny, he decided to transform the cereal fields into orchards to make the cider-making activity the flagship product of the house. It is with great pleasure that he opens his doors to the public today for a visit of the orchard and the cellar. A tour of the owner and you will learn a thousand and one things about the management of the orchard, the manufacture of cider, of course, but at the same time, you will enjoy a magnificent science lesson. The protection of the environment for Michel is anchored in his daily life to the point that the techniques of production are very respectful of the natural environment participate first in this philosophy. While you taste his cider (bronze medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2014), take the time to listen to his story: the planting of apple trees inseparable from the three kilometers of Normandy hedges that were created at the same time... The cider of Les Ruelles is elaborated thanks to nine varieties of apples whose assembly delivers acidulous fruit flavours. But we won't tell you more to give you time to discover the fruits of this passion: sweet cider, apple juice, apple jelly, jams, cider brandy, cider vinegar...

On the spot, don't miss the two guest rooms to extend your stay and the pleasure, as well as the forest-garden with its cultivated fields on about sixty hectares. Enough to satisfy young and old.

The region may not be well known but its landscapes are superb. Roumois is the "Pagus Rotomagensis" or the "Land of Rouen". But it is also the home of Alain Caboulet's cider factory. Passionate, he took over, in 1989, the reins of the farm bought by his grandfather, Raynald, in the 1940s. On the 25 hectares of orchard, Bedan, Bisquet, Douce Moën, Rouget de Dol grow under the Normandy skies in the heart of the IGP Normandie. The result is a range of products stamped with the "Produit en Gourmandie" label. The Domaine des Hauts Vents cider has won many awards at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris (gold medal in 2013 for the sweet cider) and has been entered in the Vinalies Internationales (where cider products are submitted to oenologists and wine and spirits professionals). That's how good it is. No more time to lose to add these superb nectars to the shelves of your cellar which, for sure, will not be big enough since there are other treasures: pommeau de Normandie (silver medal in Paris in 2008), calvados AOC (distilled in a Charentais type still), pear liqueur with calvados, cider confit, cider vinegar, apple and pear juice and - very new - a rosé cider. You can visit in spring during the open days or in September for the Heritage Days. Don't worry, a sales point is open on the farm, at weekends or during the week by appointment. A shot of cider can be as simple as a phone call!

In eastern Caen, in the "leavening sun", Pain Vivant is making its mark on the bread-making landscape. Here, Diego passionately blends boldness and tradition. Boldness, in his determination to work almost exclusively with short-distance suppliers, and in his choice of long fermentation. Tradition, for his wood-fired oven and his own mill, but also for the use of home-made natural sourdough. Our breads, brioches and viennoiseries have a taste for authenticity. Don't miss the vanilla flan or the New York rolls!

For three generations, Les Roches Blanches have been making a single product: dry sausage! But here, it's not just any dry sausage: it's made from free-range Normandy pork, fed on cereals and linseed, and matured in a traditional hâloir. Today, with its Label Rouge and organic certification, the store offers several ranges of sausages, including Le Marin, the specialty of Les Roches Blanches, made with French pork, coarse sea salt and spices, and cured for six months.

In the heart of Bessin, three kilometres from Omaha-Beach, Ferme du Lavoir is a gourmet stop on the tour of the d-day beaches. Miryam and Guillaume Capelle took over this cider-producing exploitation of thirteen acres orchards, four years ago, in 2010, turning to a resolutely organic agriculture. All products come from apples of orchards leads in respect of the fauna and flora surrounding, combining traditional methods and modern techniques with the same concern of relaxing all the flavours of apple. The range is made consists of a semi-dry cider (assembly of eight sweet, bittersweet and acid varieties), typical of the region of Bessin, marked by freshness and the fruity touch unusual and raw cider (assembly of sweet, bittersweet and bitter varieties), marked by a more pronounced bitterness. Thanks to a cellar, natural plugs foam are particularly well controlled. A know-how noticeable every year with the competition the Saint-Jean of the Ciders organised by the Maison Cidricole de Normandie where Ferme du Lavoir was awarded a silver medals in 2011, 2012 and 2013, especially for its semi-dry cider with the delicate mousse and very fine effervescence.

Don't be surprised if you come across people with chocolate moustaches or whipped cream on the tip of their noses! They are definitely coming from the Rue de la Mer! Even if it has changed name and owners (now Jérémy and Kelly), this gourmet meeting place, founded in 1910, remains very popular. The recipe for melting pancakes and crispy waffles remains the same as at Simard's. The trend is also towards bubble tea and homemade milkshakes. The season promises to be beautiful and tasty. Smart tip: collectable tickets for a free pancake or waffle.

Betweenbeaches and bocage, the Côte des Isles (Barneville-Carteret, Port-Bail, Denneville)is home to many treasures, including cider from this well-known estate: traditional brut and demi-sec, organic brut and demi-sec, there's no shortage here. All these treasures are certified "Bio Qualité France". You can add other sweet beverages (pommeau, calvados, apple juice, vinegar) to your shopping basket. These products are much appreciated by locals and, by word of mouth, by many visitors and tourists.

Along the way, don't miss La Sapinière. A visit to the estate, from the orchards to the cellars, is a fascinating immersion in the heart of a family history lovingly perpetuated for six generations. Regularly awarded laurels at regional competitions, the estate's production includes four nectars: cider, the flagship product, pommeau, calvados and apple juice. There's a cider for every palate, available in four cuvées: demi-sec, brut, "Verger du littoral" and, at the top of the bill, the special "Rivage du Bessin" cuvée, star of La Sapinière.

If the setting of this grocery store is sublime (Barfleur is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France), the place itself is just as pleasant! Here, all the gastronomic Normandy - but not only (the choice of wine is just as vast) - is represented, proposed, sublimated! This family-run business continues to gain notoriety, and with good reason! The beautiful farm in Moyon-Villages has won numerous awards (gold medal for its chocolate cream, and bronze medal for its strawberry milk yoghurt at the Salon de l'Agriculture 2024), and deservedly so! The owner of the site, Franck Deschamps, has been passionate about this spice and has always travelled around the globe to discover the finest peppers. Théo Capelle tells the story of cider, calvados, apples, and its fabulous nectars, from a family production. The Théo Capelle cider-distillery consists of 10 hectares of orchards, 6,500 apple trees, fifteen varieties, a press and a shop. The orchard, distillery and shop can be visited all year round. You can stroll through the apple tree alleys, listen with delight to the sweet vocabulary of apple work, and discover the still where the AOC Calvados and the AOC Normandy pommeau are distilled. In Grosville, in the authentic setting of the Commanderie, Jean-François Vaultier invites you to discover his cider products. He also makes calvados, pommeau (an aperitif made from cider and calvados), apple juice, cider vinegar, cider confit, as well as apple, elderberry and rhubarb jam and blackberry jelly. During the visit of the press dating from 1942, still in use in this old farm, you will be explained how cider is made... It's interesting and you can leave with your bottles!

It is with the milk jam that the history of the company begins. Since then, the family farm has started to produce other milk sweets: chocolates, berlingots, calvados cream or jams, which have been widely rewarded. The sign is also a splendid place, halfway between a flea market and a farm, in an old farmhouse. You also have a nice tea room, in a carefully thought rustic atmosphere. We love it!

The abbey of Valognes is a liturgical place, a notable architectural ensemble, but not only. Indeed, the Benedictine sisters also have a place where they make products that are worth being known: delicious fruit pastes. You should know that their recipe is well-guarded! Guaranteed without colouring, without preservatives, with natural fruit flavours, you will have the choice between ten traditional flavours, with or without chocolate coating, they are just perfect! This cheese dairy was founded in 1931 by Théodore Réaux. From the outset, production focused on ladle-molded Camembert made from raw milk, and the dairy opens its doors to the public. You'll visit the AOC Camembert production workshops, then move on to the molding and renneting workshop, and discover the hâloirs, the ripening cellar and the packaging line. The cheeses, which won 5 medals again this year, can be purchased in the store.

Since 1885, Maison Barnier has been perpetuating the tradition from father to son in order to offer quality confectionery. At that time, Marius and Pierre Barnier created a company of artisanal candy manufacturing: Bonbons Suisses. It was bought in 1900 by Eugène Callet who gave it its final name. Made in a traditional way, the candies are concocted with natural products to reproduce the authentic taste of childhood sweets: frills, berlingots, candy canes...
