Just a few steps from the sea, there's a restaurant where it's good to stop, run by Francine, the mother (in charge of the cuisine), and Manuéla, the girl (in the room). Milo? It's the name of Francine's dad. Here everything is homemade, seafood and fresh fish are their specialities and the chef makes miracles. We recommend his soup z'inhabitant (crayfish) or the fish blaff (and even sea urchins, depending on the season). Do not miss the coconut blanc manger for dessert. Ventilated terrace and pretty decoration. One of our favourites.

It's difficult to go on this street without capturing the conviviality and nice atmosphere of Thierry and his team. Besides being well received, you will taste local preparations and different dishes every day. Sénacle, where the history of Martinique is restored, the place is unavoidable and the price-quality ratio of the best.

Located above the water on the beach of the Abymes, an address that became unavoidable. The room is very airy with great openings on the sea, offering a 180-degree view on the bay. The kitchen is well done and quite varied: seafood platter, roasted local crayfish or fricassées, shark colombo, cabri stew and rib beef ribs; all dishes are accompanied by the country's vegetables. Also vegetarian specialities. Guests can enjoy a birthday or a baptism. Finally, there are sun loungers on the beach and are available for siesta after lunch. A nice surprise awaits you at the end of the meal, but no more! The Mélodie also organizes boat rides on the wild slopes between Le Preacher and Grand-Rivière, upon reservation.

Heading towards Cap Chevalier, in the Fond Repos district, this family-run restaurant boasts a typically Creole menu (accras, colombo de cabris...) that sublimates local produce. It also gives pride of place to seafood (lambis, langoustes, etc.) sourced directly from local fisheries. The other highlight of the restaurant is undoubtedly the terrace, with its breathtaking sea views. Inside, a 300^m2 room (with dance floor) regularly hosts events. Musical entertainment is often provided on Friday evenings.
