If the place is pleasant and neat, in a bistro spirit, the dishes offered at Pepò, such as ribollita (a typical Tuscan vegetable soup) orbaccalà (cod in tomato sauce, served only on Fridays), are typical and exquisite. Vegetarian dishes also. Not to spoil anything, the service is all smiles, the prices are wise considering the quality of the food and the location, just a stone's throw from the Mercato Centrale. A glass is brought spontaneously if you wait on the sidewalk to have your table because yes, the address is running!

Ideally located in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Il Tabisca offers excellent pizzas served on a wooden board with unrefined flour, which is easier to digest, as well as many Piedmontese and Sicilian gastronomic proposals. On the Piedmont side, a selection of mountain cheeses, typical cold cuts, traditional pasta(agnolotti, gnocchi...) and on the Sicilian side fresh fish: Beccafico sardines, moure alla messinese, pasta, tempura... A haven for young artists and patrons of the arts in the 1950s and 1960s, this neighborhood restaurant began a new life a few years ago thanks to the meeting of a talented sommelier and an inventive chef. For dessert, try the exquisite lemon pie.

Its location is ideal, on a small square in front of a Renaissance palace, a little removed from the hustle and bustle of Campo dei Fiori. On sunny days, the outdoor tables, draped in white, are crowded with the most chic Romans and tourists who love fine cuisine. Seafood dishes are very popular, and if you haven't tried spaghetti alle vongole (with clams) yet, now might be the time. Beware, this is not the place where you will find peace and quiet! The Luzzi family, from generation to generation, has run this trattoria since 1945. The current owner, assisted by his daughter, is animated and has fun with the numerous customers in this area located next to the Colosseum. The dishes are good and you can find the traditional Roman specialties (like the classic trippa alla romana or the no less famous coda alla vaccinara). To devour also, pizzas cooked scrupulously on wood fire. A good address in the neighborhood.

An innovative and curious concept: a restaurant where one pays with the weight! You thus pay only what you consume. With provision, a hot buffet and varied enough cold, traditional dishes and some options vegetarians. The single dish is an innovation for the Italians, who however seem to appreciate this concept. The place is often filled, but the tail advance quickly. Our very favorite: the apple pie with cinnamon, a sheer delight.

Among all the restaurants that have a terrace on the ramparts facing the setting sun, we had a crush on Il Macchiavello. The reception is irreproachable, it is the great Italian class, the interior room is superb, and as for the terrace, one cannot make more romantic when the light goes down and the last rays of sun illuminate the ramparts. Alghero is a Catalan land, so we recommend you to taste the paella. Lovers of pasta, you will not be disappointed either. In short, we enjoyed ourselves!

The hotel's restaurant of the same name can serve up to 400 covers in August, and guests flock to its trellis of flowers to enjoy delicious cuisine at very affordable prices. Black and white tagliatelle with seafood, Sardinian ravioli with tomato and basil or scorpion fish served in a basil sauce are a delight for gourmets. Out of season, the large design room dressed all in white and with soft lighting is also very pleasant for a dinner with friends or lovers.

Historic Pizzeria of Naples, located at no. 32 of the street since 1935. Come a little before 1 p.m. or before 8 p.m. to avoid the queue because, despite the competition, its success is not waning. As you read the menu, you will learn more about the Sorbillo family, whose black and white photos illustrate the beginnings of the pizzeria. The pizzas are named after the many children in the family: 21 pizzas to choose from! Our favourite, the Carmela: made of friarielli, a kind of broccoli only found in Naples, and small pieces of sausage... divine!

We appreciated the well-kept setting and the flowered garden where we can settle down when the weather is nice. The Venetian cuisine offers beautiful plates of fish cooked with talent (spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, scallops). The products are fresh, and the dishes, including bread and pasta, are homemade.

Famous family cooking, the Trattoria "da Paolo" is a sure value in the Trastevere district. Daily specials are offered and guarantee a change of scenery in season, trust the good advice of the waiter or the landlady! The classic of the house, the saltimbocca alla romana, is recommended. Finding a good restaurant in Sperlonga is sometimes complicated: the city is very busy in summer, the price-quality ratio suffers. However, it is in the old town and its maze of alleys that you will find this typical restaurant. In the cool under arches, far from the excitement of the beach, you will enjoy here a simple but delicious seasonal cuisine. There are mainly seafood and fish dishes, due to the proximity of the sea. Everything is fresh and the wine list is very varied, allowing for beautiful combinations.

This ultra-trendy restaurant chain promises elegance and refinement in the heart of the plate! Just a stone's throw from the port of Genoa, a chic address in the centro storico, with a rather refined black and white design decor. On the menu, sea products worked like gems: scallops, fettuccine with langoustines, fresh fish of the day and, for dessert, a delicious frozen pear to fall in love with! Ideally located between piazza dei Miracoli and piazza dei Cavalieri, a stone's throw from the Tower, this small family-run restaurant has a simple, unpretentious front, but as soon as the plates arrive, it's easy to be charmed by the flavors of Tuscan gastronomy. On the menu, stocked with quality ingredients: pici (hand-rolled pasta resembling large spaghetti), beef tagliata, ricotta and spinach ravioli, mushrooms and truffles in season... Served in a lovely vaulted setting by a friendly team.

Here's a wine shop that doesn't neglect its cuisine in favor of its wines! Prices may seem a little high, but the quality is top-notch, and there's no cover charge (a rarity in the area!). The restaurant also boasts a terrace.

A gastronomic institution of the brothers Andrea and Alberto Rizzo, where the dishes are particularly refined. A true delight for gourmets, to whom we can only recommend the vanilla fried lobster on a pine nut sauce with candied ginger and red pepper mousse . For the record, scenes of the Cheetah were filmed next to the restaurant. A very top-of-the-range table, where the addition is salty. There is also a dizzying wine list, with many Sicilian wines. The setting is intimate, under stone vaults.

This V.I.P. address has a very refined rustic atmosphere. Old tiled floors, old enamelled stove, waxed wooden tables, all the codes of the old bourgeois dining room have been taken up. For once, the dining room is more pleasant than the terrace, which is very much covered to guarantee maximum privacy for the guests. The menu proposes the best and most beautiful noble products: risotto with wild asparagus and scampi, fregola soup with tomatoes, spaghetti with bottarga... Very good wine list with the best vintages.

The restaurant offers fish and shellfish cuisine in an alleyway in the historic centre, right next to the port of Cala Gavetta. Straw chairs, white tablecloths and beautiful presentations... all the details are there to enjoy a pleasant meal, but it is certainly the fish cooler that catches the eye. The fish antipasto with several small seafood starters, the spaghetti with clams and the homemade myrtle liqueur win the first prize among the dishes offered. The only regret is that the prices are decidedly high.

The restaurant is located in an old sacristy that until ten years ago housed the art gallery of a famous master glassmaker. In the kitchen, apart from the traditional pizzas, which are counted by the dozens, the owner Giuseppe Calliandro reappropriates almost all the treasures of local cuisine, such as Venetian liver served with polenta, cannelloni with Doge or scampi alla busera. Whatever you order, your plate will be deliberately generous. The wine list is also qualitative. Good reception in addition.

In the ghetto, you can eat delicious pizza in the large room or, in summer, outdoors, on the small square, distorted by the roots of a very old tree. It is calm, pleasant, but invaded by mosquitoes. A shadow of the table… Good kitchen and warm welcome.

In a beautiful stone building from the ^19th century, here is a good address to taste the specialities of the lake, among which is the eel risotto. A flowered terrace allows you to eat outside on nice days. Some nice and comfortable rooms are available. The food is good, the dishes are plentiful and of good quality; as for the service, it is fast and pleasant. A nice address. Not to be confused with the restaurant located on the first floor of the building, which also offers good food and pizzas.

Located 50 m from the Duomo, this trattoria is one of the references of the local cuisine. It is a good place to eat in an informal atmosphere. The menu changes very regularly, almost every month, but keeps the basics like tortellini, fresh pasta and homemade desserts. Chocolate mousse is a staple of the house. Various meat dishes are offered such as pork chops, lamb, rabbit and tender beef.

Typical Sicilian cuisine revisited, to discover the Palermo flavours in particular, raw or cooked.
