Since summer 2018, the majestic Leopoldo Palace, nestled in the medieval heart of Radda in Chianti, has housed a small but elegant restaurant, managed by the Rossinelli family. Here you can taste a sunny, tasty, simple Tuscan cuisine with a view of the rolling hills of Chianti. Antipasti, pappardelle al cinghiale, osso buco or tagliata di manzo seduce without forcing the note. The benevolent, efficient and well advised service for the wine is very pleasant. And, in fine, special mention for the tiramisù, downright smooth.

Set in a period palace with stone vaults, in the historic heart of Pisa, this welcoming restaurant offers menus of di terra (earth), di puddle (sea) and greenery (vegetables), good, original and at very fair prices. It is one of the best tables in the city, set in a very refined historical setting, which combines tradition and creativity. The presentation of the plates is just as well worked out and successful. Reservations are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

And the room is just like the plate, a rustic-retro setting with chequered tablecloths.

La Casa di Ferrara (Ca' d'Frara in dialect) offers dishes from the Ferrarese tradition, but also a creative land and sea menu, with inventive and colourful plates, mixing local products in a beautiful balance of flavours. Everything is prepared with finesse and served in a room with elegant lines. Among the specialties: homemade pasta, bollito misto, wood-fired meats and eel, to be drizzled with a good Italian wine. It's just delicious.

A rustic restaurant located just in front of the sea, but which does not offer fish dishes! Here, Romagna's cuisine is honoured, that of the land, with its cold meats accompanied by warm piadine, juicy grilled meats, tagliatelle al ragù and tortelloni with butter and sage. Everything is homemade, even the fresh pasta, you can taste very tasty traditional dishes. Don't stop at the façade, which is not particularly engaging: here you eat well and are greeted with a smile.

Located on the edge of a small canal, in the quiet Dorsoduro district, this old trattoria with its wood stormcoat, welcomes you on classical music. We eat the traditional dishes of Venetian culture, even if you often regret a lack of finesse… A wide selection of pasta (including the tagliatelles with della Dona Onesta), but also seafood, fish frills and meats, can be found here. Opt for this address if you're in the corner, otherwise you'll get your way. It's more "honest" to say it.

The Bosio family has run this stone cottage on the little port since 1862, and the quality of the restoration is as good as ever. On the menu, fresh fish and shellfish specialties prepared to a high standard (legendary antipasto of the sea, as well as fried anchovies), graphic plates, impeccably laid out, a cart of simple and tasty desserts, including a chocolate cake to die for. Inside, the room with yellow tones opens onto a beautiful and large terrace shaded by a vine arbour. A very pleasant place where you can discover a quality cuisine. La Calanca is a good place to try the local specialities cooked according to the seasons and at low prices. The cuisine is simple and appetizing, marine and summery. As a starter, the platters of cold meats and cheeses allow you to discover the beautiful regional products, and you can order several antipasti to pick up your choice of stuffed and fried rice balls and vegetable fritters. A very good address in the city created by two crazy people (pazzi), two inseparable friends (one from Perugia, the other from Venice). Here you can enjoy traditional Umbrian and Venetian cuisine, accompanied by excellent wines and stunning desserts. The house recommends for example shrimps sautéed with rosemary and chickpea cream, ravioloni stuffed with burrata, parmesan, thyme, cherry tomatoes and salted ricotta, pork stuffed with sausage cream and flavoured with wine and truffle. Bread, pasta: everything is homemade!

A table known since 1931 for its specialties of Emilie-Romagna, land of Tortelloni and fine charcuterie. An almost secret address since the restaurant hides in an anonymous street and only the connoisseurs find it. The calpaccio of calf already announces the color and leaves no indifferent, the fresh tortelloni made home are a real treat and confirm the status. Excellent wines and delicious homemade desserts. Very friendly staff. Watch out, mandatory reservation.

It's impossible to be more typical than this little restaurant. First of all, its name, which promises a simple but tasty meal. Then its setting. The tables are set up under the old trees that cast their shadow on a small square. They are covered with checkered tablecloths to complete the postcard setting. The Taverna offers typical Sardinian dishes or fresh homemade pasta. You can also watch your figure with a grilled fish served with fresh vegetables. A real delight.

In Acquacheta, you will find an authentic, typical and family setting. This good Montepulciano restaurant, particularly famous, offers you some of the region's specialities, such as courgette flowers with ricotta and mint, fiorentina cooked on charcoal, tagliatelle with fresh mushrooms, in season. Because here, the menu changes every week! Especially recommended for lovers of fresh meat and pasta, prepared by Anna every morning. A frank and warm welcome from the boss, Giulio Ciolfi.

A classic in Treviso since 1921. In the small room of this inn-like trattoria there is an air of yesteryear, while on the plate you will find the specialties of Veneto and Treviso (bigoli in sauce, roast duck served on a bed of potatoes and red radish). True to its name, the duck (oca) will be offered in all its forms. The menu is renewed regularly, according to the seasons. The decor is warm and authentic, with a wooden ceiling, old photographs, bottles of wine here and there... A good address.
