Among all the restaurants that have a terrace on the ramparts facing the setting sun, we had a crush on Il Macchiavello. The reception is irreproachable, it is the great Italian class, the interior room is superb, and as for the terrace, one cannot make more romantic when the light goes down and the last rays of sun illuminate the ramparts. Alghero is a Catalan land, so we recommend you to taste the paella. Lovers of pasta, you will not be disappointed either. In short, we enjoyed ourselves!

A ridosso del mare in una zona storica tranquilla, anche se trafficata dal turismo. Panorama rilassante e romantico, ottimo cibo come altrettanto il bere. Consigliatissimo.

Girando nel centro storico di Alghero ci ha colpito questo ristorante con vista bellissima sul mare e approfittando del sole e del poco vento ci siamo fermate e non ce ne siamo pentite. Menù tipico sardo con attenzione alle materie prime del territorio. Il personale molto gentile e accogliente, la moglie dello Chef ci ha consigliate con passione e un meraviglioso sorriso, che non è mai scontato. Antipasto misto di mare delizioso e vario e Culurgiones al sugo fresco di pomodoro d'ordinanza accompagnati da un ottimo Vermentino. Sicuramente consigliato. Prezzi nella norma.

A contractional experience. The waiters were absolutely great. We ate two dishes: the fish of the day was excellent, but the seafood pasta was the worst during our three-week trip. I hope we won't get sick. No coffee because of the broken Coffee machine. What !!! In Italy and no coffee.

Ad oltre un anno di distanza ricordo ancora l'esperienza in questo locale.
Non trovando spazio altrove io ed il mio compagno di viaggo abbiamo scelto questa osteria, attirati dai prezzi discreti. Ci hanno fatto accomodare all'interno, vicino ad un gruppo nonostante il resto del locale fosse mezzo vuoto.
Abbiamo ordinato una bistecca con patate e un porceddu sardo con verdure: la bistecca piacevole, il porceddu ricco di parti grasse, difficilmente mangiabile. La crema catalana ci è stato detto all'ultimo che non era disponibile.
Il servizio è stato l'elemento peggiore: dovendo servire spaghetti col sugo "cotti al momento", i camerieri non hanno esitato a presentarsi col pentolone e, al grido "Attenti agli schizzi!", hanno servito il gruppo di fianco a noi e... schizzato con il sugo la mia t-shirt bianca. Della cosa mi sono accorto una volta andato in bagno.
Abbiamo chiesto di ottenere un sconto sul totale, vista la qualità di cibo e servizio. Sconto Negato.
Ce ne siamo andati sbattendo la porta.
