Good Italian cuisine.

A good cheap Chinese, which is doubly rare here. Specialities from different parts of China and a varied menu. The restaurant was one of the first Chinese in Recife. 35 years after the establishment of the first restaurant, the brand has developed in several cities in northeastern Northeastern France. In Recife there are two other addresses: Shopping Center Recife and Shopping Center Guararapes, à la carte service and buffet per kilo.

The Ver-o-Açaï restaurant is a superb showcase not only for the culinary traditions of this Amazonian region, but also for its rich culture. The decorations on the walls immediately highlight the owners' deep love of the Indian and Cabocla roots of Belém and Parà. Ver-o-Açai offers sincere cuisine, made with love and quality products. You can eat à la carte or choose a "tasting" meal. Excellent local beers are available. A must-try!

Since 2009, Xapuri is an open-air restaurant where one comes on Sunday lunchtime, before riding around the property or after going to Pampulha. Some of the ingredients come from the vegetable garden. You can try the good lombos de panela, or the frango ao passarinho. The buffet offers eighteen desserts, among which snow eggs, doce de leite, candied pears, casca de mamaye, mango, figs... One of the best regional cuisine restaurants in the city. Of course, traditional music groups complete the pleasure of the table.

A small, relatively lively bar-restaurant located in the main square of Catas Altas, opposite the beautiful Matriz church. The simplicity here is combined with the quality of the food. One of those small restaurants typical of the Minas countryside that exude authenticity, simplicity and sincerity. A very family atmosphere, a very "caseira" cuisine. The environment, if you think in black and white, makes you think of one of those "Cinema Novo" films, where the hero is the everyday man from the interior.

The Famiglia Manzoli is a restaurant that honours the cuisine of the boot, as its name suggests. It must be said that the Manzolis are cooks from father to son, since the grandfather Tuscan, and the father, passed by the Fasano, among others. It offers a good Italian cuisine, which pasta lovers (ravioli are particularly recommended) will appreciate. The pasta is made on the spot and the veal ravioli with butter and sage sauce definitely seems to be the attraction of the place. The grilled fish is also excellent.

In this beautiful historic house in the heart of Curitiba, you can enjoy excellent gourmet pizzas and pastas to the sound of a piano playing jazz or barcarolles. Fine dough, noble ingredients, wood-fired cooking... The pizzaiolos work hard to make pizzas the Italian way... or the paulista way. For almost 40 years, the Swiss chalet has been offering its refined cuisine in Curitiba. French and Swiss influenced cuisine in a pleasant setting. In a very cosy setting, this international restaurant is regularly honored as one of the best tables of Slavic cuisine in all of Brazil. The restaurant serves very good cuisine based on recipes from Ukraine, Poland and Russia. Try borscht as a starter (beetroot soup with pork chops), then platzki (potato pancakes). The Slavic banquet (R$ 120) gives a gastronomic insight into Slavic cuisine (plaztki, holopti, filet mignon, Russian salad... of course). A good overview of the diversity of Curitiba.

Good restaurant with regional cuisine. You can enjoy the traditional barreado in a pleasant setting: tables in the garden and on the terrace, surrounded by trees. The library in the dining room of the restaurant reminds us that we are in the owner's house. The atmosphere is familiar, as are the dishes served at the table, but the service is very professional. While barreado is popular in the region and beyond, those who wish to enjoy fish or seafood in the caiçara style will not be outdone. Excellent maracujá desserts.

The Macarronada is now one of the most famous restaurants in the area. This Italian cuisine is prepared with fresh ingredients chosen for their taste qualities. The Chopp Real is an ideal address to have a drink or to linger over a dish, in a friendly setting in the heart of the historic center of Ouro Preto. As for the dishes, the establishment offers regional specialties such as Tutu a Mineira or Feijao Tropeiro, but also delicious grilled meat and fish as well as international cuisine (risottos, pasta, pizza...). Let yourself be tempted by the picanha, you won't be disappointed! The service at Chopp Real is efficient and the welcome is warm. Music every night.

A very good option to taste bahianaise cuisine in the area, it is one of the best in Salvador. 

Located opposite the dique do Tororo, a lake in the middle of which seem to float statues of Orixas that have become the city's postcard. Since 1986, the restaurant has built up a solid reputation. Still in the series "a transalpine culinary presence is a guarantee of quality", Piazzale Italia will not belie this maxim. The former "Mama Italia", under the direction of the renowned chef Thiago Gomes, is a very nice and good Italian house that offers a large number of Italian dishes. On the menu are pizzas, pastas (including vongole), risottos, fish dishes and more. Lampião is an iconic character from the Nordeste, but the word also simply means lampion. The eponymous Luso-Brazilian restaurant is a space illuminated every night by handmade lights from the "Gatos e Ruas" shop. The show is guaranteed for the eyes and for the pupils. On the large wooden tables, there is a large buffet with a wide choice of salads, pasta, rice, meat and some typical dishes from the Nordeste and also from Portugal. The setting is spacious and airy. You must try the fish stuffed with shrimps.

In the Dragao do Mar cultural centre, good food is not forgotten. You can eat at the buffet by the kilo at lunchtime and taste regional food a la carte in the Alma Gemea restaurant. The dishes are hearty and can serve two to three people. The carne-de-sol Dragão do Mar is a must try! The Alma Gemea restaurant is a good option for pizza, Italian food, grilled food, before or after visits to the cultural centre.

The influx of tourists has not made the authenticity of the regional restaurant and the family cuisine disappear. The Catavento is one of those establishments that we like to meet, simple and with an interesting cuisine. It is a family restaurant. While the mother cooks, the others take care of the service. Located a little behind the trendy bars and restaurants, the Catavento offers simple dishes at very attractive prices. The moqueca is tasty and the side dishes are numerous. Ideal for small budgets.

Chef Wânia Martins operates with talent at the pianos of the Pomme d'or restaurant. She has successfully blended Amazonian culinary traditions with outside influences. Pomme essentially offers a good buffet with many options for regional hot dishes and salads. On Saturday, feijoada is in the spotlight. Nice to get a sample of the different local recipes! The base is homemade, aimed at an eclectic audience, and on Thursdays it adds Arabic dishes. Try the duck with tucupi.

Chef Heloisa Simoes is the heir to the regional culinary traditions of one of the oldest establishments in Praia do Forte, the "Nita" restaurant. This modern, wooden restaurant offers typical Bahia cuisine with dishes that appeal to the whole world. The traditional bobo de camarão (shrimp and coconut milk dish), the unmissable fish moqueca and other classics are on the menu. Take a seat on the terrace and enjoy the traditional spices and flavours of Bahia!

A Lebanese delicatessen offering a variety of snacks and antipasti. Everything is on display in the refrigerated showcase, making it difficult to choose. If you're eating in, choose your table and place your order. Most dishes are bought by weight, and there are three sizes of ramekin to choose from, depending on your hunger; the small one is already very good for a tasting. Helena Rizzo, prepares alongside her husband and chef Daniel Redondo exquisite dishes constantly renewed on the menu of Mani - voted 36th best in the world by The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2014 . With their personal touch, they work with local ingredients and revisit the classics of Brazilian gastronomy.The picadinho of filet mignon as the main course, other more elaborate dishes, such as the rice with langoustines with saffron emulsion. The tasting menu will allow you to dive into this choice cuisine.

Raful restaurant is a Lebanese lanchonete where you can eat tasty specialities from the country of the cedar and the near and middle east. There are very good esfihas, kebbes and other snacks. The pastries are also worth trying. Ideal for a snack or a quick lunch while passing through the busy shopping street of 25 de Março. The restaurant offers a tasting menu for R$85, a tasting of cold dishes for R$49. The menu offers an endless variety of dishes and mezzes and some Brazilian specialties.

Here's a restaurant to try if you're looking for a good, cheap, creative lunchtime table. In 2013, chefs Leonardo Magni and Liliana Andriola opened the Mandarinier restaurant, located in the Cidade Baixa district of Porto Alegre. The slate here offers seasonal and market cuisine, since the menu (cover, starter, main course and dessert) is one price, composed on the urge and variable day after day. Italian cuisine has the ability to sublimate the sensations of the passing time and the space that surrounds us. The Pomodori trattoria is one of these beautiful meetings. Campo Grande is a cosmopolitan town with a small Arab community. It is logical to find an oriental restaurant there. Yallah (as its name suggests...) is a restaurant serving Arabic cuisine, or Arabic-inspired cuisine with local ingredients. The interest is that here the dishes are creative and delicious, copious and appetizing. Mezzes, falafels, esfirras, shamburaks, kibbes, all the great classics of oriental cuisine are available on the Yallah menu. Excellent desserts. Exotic and excellent!

Since 2010, the restaurant Bamboo serves interesting Japanese cuisine. This art is difficult in Campo Grande, as the Japanese community is quite large. This Japanese restaurant offers a luxurious rodizio of sushi. All variations of Uramaqui sushi, temaki, sashimi, niguiri, and other Japanese dishes can be ordered without limits. It is not cheap, but the creations are neat and the fish is fresh. One can take combined dishes of 22, 28 and 58 pieces for the biggest hungers. A good address.

Another good "mineira" surprise. This restaurant fitted out by the owners Luis and Sergio, in a colonial house in the center of Iguaçu is an excellent surprise. The dishes for once are individual, but cheaper than elsewhere, and original, offering inventive cuisine. Starters, desserts and cocktails are not to be outdone. Remember to book in the evening, as the establishment is always full. Originality of the place which is reminiscent of Ouro Preto where the cafes are also antique shops, the decorative objects are for sale!

This small restaurant open only for lunch has as a concept to propose healthy and appetizing products. Major allergens are carefully avoided. The dishes of the day (pasta, sweet and savoury pastries, soups) are made from vegetables, meats and fish cooked to perfection, finely prepared, all at floor prices. Almost all the ingredients are organically grown. A great address where you can also enjoy a good breakfast, fresh fruit juice or cupcakes

For the past 40 years, Chef Franca has established his "brotherhood" in this bohemian, bustling district of Rio Vermelho. Many say you come as a customer and leave as a friend. Carne do sol (dried meat), grilled meat with onions, cod fritters, as well as seafood (try octopus with rice or arroz de polvo), fish and chicken. The dishes are numerous and are served in different rooms, including one overlooking Rio Vermelho beach and another decorated in the traditional "casas de Yemanjà" style.

The Piracema restaurant is dedicated to fish(piracema is a Tupi word that evokes the breeding season of fish), but also to regional cuisine. It's certainly one of the best restaurants in this city between Belém and Manaus. Close to the river beach and the city center, the premises are simple but pleasant, with a few Amazonian handicraft decorations. Pato (duck) with tucupi is a must-try. Pirarucu with banana purée and fish à la Piracema are some of the restaurant's star dishes.

The carne do sol (literally meat of the sun) is a typical preparation of the Nordeste. The cowboys used to dry the meat to preserve it, in these lands with high temperatures. As you can see, this establishment is partly dedicated to meaty food. The Carnedo Sol do Ramiro is a pleasant restaurant located at the seaside proposing the typical dishes of the North-Eastern cuisine (manioc chips, picanha...). Follow the chef and order the carne de sol! Dishes to share and attractive prices.

Another small address that Santa Teresa has the secret. On this side of Santa Teresa, it might seem difficult to find a good restaurant. On the Largo das Neves, so nice and pleasant, the Goya Beira is the best address to taste some popular Brazilian dishes without pretention, but also to drink beers on the terrace, while enjoying the animations of this small square of district. This establishment is one of the simple and authentic places that you like to meet the guests and the people who work.

An address like no other. Le jacaranda is a small garden, a veritable oasis in the big city. People come here for the bright dining room or the garden. There aren't really any specialities, but everything is good. Some come for breakfast, others for a salad during the lunch break, and others come in the evening with their families for the "executive dishes", large plates generously served. Dishes, classics, petiscos (amuse-bouche), any time of day is a good time to visit Jacaranda.

Originally a beach restaurant, the Maremonti group, which as its name suggests promotes fine Italian cuisine, has set up one of its restaurants in the Brooklin neighborhood. The offer is varied and of high quality. Neapolitan pizzas, of course, handmade and certified by the Italian association of pizzaiolos, and a few variations (with brie, etc.), but also more sophisticated dishes (truffle risotto). Homemade pasta is not to be outdone (gnocchi, spaghetti, lasagne), including osso buco ragu . A fine address.

Another place that only Sampa knows how to produce. It's a parrillada restaurant, but it's not really a parrillada restaurant. Rather, it's a restaurant-school that teaches the art of parrillada, gastronomic experiences taught by a... gastronomic brotherhood like those that exist in France. "Los Pibes" teaches the art of preparing meat gaucha-style. Argentinian master Chico Mancuso and Uruguayan master Alan Edelstein have the art of turning this experience into a real success. Finally, the premises are very pleasant, combining wood and brick.

The Restaurante Tamboril is one of the various dining venues on offer at Inhotim. It is the most sophisticated and expensive gourmet table in the Inhotim complex. The restaurant offers a quality buffet in a pleasant setting. At the end of the day, you can enjoy a drink here on the terrace before heading back to Belo Horizonte. The food and the setting are unmissable. The Inhotim site also features a pizzeria, a less sophisticated restaurant, two cafés, a fast food and juice bar.

Housed in red-and-green Italian-style walls, just inside the tourist district of Boa Viagem, the "La Tratoria" restaurant offers fine transalpine cuisine. The classics of Italian cuisine, land and sea, are offered on a good menu, complete without being excessive. Fettucini with shrimp, gnocchi, ragù with sausage, vitarela with mushrooms. In short, fans of Mediterranean cuisine or those looking for a break from Brazilian cuisine are sure to find what they're looking for. An interesting wine list.

A rustic and romantic restaurant that serves generous plates of comida mineira prepared with love, and not at all expensive. In a setting that only Minas knows how to offer, with its whitewashed walls, its exposed stones and its long room, Bem te vi is a historical, folkloric and culinary adventure. In the evening, the candles add a romantic touch to a place that is never without it. We are far from Copacabana or Ipanema and we are not complaining. A delicious buffet and not expensive by the kilo.

As the name suggests, the idea here is to combine food by the kilo with culinary flavours. It is certainly a good self-service restaurant for ogre appetites, located in the city centre, on Dom Aquino Street, two blocks from Praça Pantaneira. The buffet, with its array of colours, is impressively varied (they even prepare sushi!) and the quality, without being great cuisine, is satisfactory. Desserts are also served by the kilo. The service is done until 3pm on weekends.

Opened by a young Brazilian, this "osteria" with its fancy decor and clientele fuses Brazilian cuisine with Italian inspiration. Superb cuts of meat, risottos and pasta plates. From pesto and tomato confit risotto to banana gnocchi and traditional pirarucu confitado. Admittedly, prices are a little more expensive than average, but the well-prepared cuisine and decor make it worthwhile. Also on the menu: quiches and soups at reasonable prices. Friendly service and gourmet desserts round off the experience.

Fish lovers will certainly find something to eat at the "Casa do Peixe" restaurant. The unmissable peixería consists of a large buffet of fish with all kinds of sauces (lots of fried fish) that is eaten in a large canteen-like room. From the first restaurant next to the railway station to the current one, opposite Praça das Araras, it is the long years of work, challenges and the will to provide a quality menu that have been the guidelines of the house. And it's good!
