La Maison de la Réserve is located in a huge wooden area with views of the lake where ecology and environment are respected. You will discover the nature reserve of Lake Remoray through a thorough visit including the management of this environment. You can also admire, on a small scale, the water environment with its roselière and marshes but also the pasture and forest environment. It's very fun and we're making a relatively precise idea of the ecosystem, thanks to film projections, sound, visual and manual games. Many outings are organised to the son of the months to better understand nature: for families, groups, green classes, etc.

This amazing village-museum brings back to life the villages of the past by recreating the half-timbered houses and buildings of Nuisement, engulfed during the impoundment of Lac du Der. Indeed, when this lake was created, it was necessary to sacrifice Nuisement-aux-Bois, Chantecoq and Champaubert-aux-Bois. Only two buildings have been saved from the water, the Champaubert church which dominates the lake from its promontory and the half-timbered church of Nuisement, which has been dismantled and rebuilt in the heart of this museum-village, next to the Machelignots barn which recalls the trades of yesteryear, the mairie-école and the blacksmith's house where you will find a shop selling local products.

The hamlet of Kerouat is a place over time. When you leave the hotel, you can quietly follow the shady and landscaped road. Little by little, by entering the buildings, we imagine the daily life of the sucker family who occupied the places for 5 generations, until 1965. The wheels of the mills rotate, the dwelling houses and the stables contain objects of everyday life (closed bed, safe, cupboards, various tools). It is a good overview of the living conditions of the occupants. Animations are the seasons such as the production workshop of bread made with the techniques of the past. The house Cornec, a few kilometres from there on the town of Saint Villé, completes the visit.

This museum tells all Brenne. It offers a superb collection of over 800 birds of all sizes and presents life in the old Brenne. It contains geological studies of a region's prehistorian and models of rural houses. The presentation of metallurgical activity, from the Gallic era to the large forges, is very pedagogical (animated model). It describes the system of ponds and the activities of this wetland. Admire the great model of the Naillac castle, as it should be in the xve century. And enjoy the view of the city. Temporary exhibition from July to September.
