Founded in 1975 by a handful of local residents keen to safeguard and enhance the local heritage, the MATP association traces the history of the Médoc moorlands through its urban and rural activities, its flora and fauna, and its forest-related activities. A dozen spaces present themes from the life of this region from the 18th to the 20th century. You'll see period photos, old tools, old-fashioned interiors and more. The visit takes about an hour.

Un petit musée qui mérite véritablement le détour. Géré par des bénévoles, ce musée est très complet et permet d'apprendre plein d'éléments sur le médoc avec son histoire, la vie des habitants, la biodiversité, les métiers traditionnels...
