Building to discover video archives, advertising posters, and dates in the history of the Camembert cheese specialty.
A beautiful 18th-century half-timbered building reveals what goes on behind the scenes of Camembert, born in... Camembert. Since its invention by Marie Harel in 1791, the recipe has remained unchanged: 2 litres of milk for one Camembert! You’ll discover video archives, advertising posters, key dates in the history of this cheese speciality, various objects used in its manufacture and even the reconstruction of a maturing cellar. In the store opposite, you’ll find cheeses, local products (cider, sweets, etc.), by-products and snacks.

visite très intéressante
Ce musée nous apprend beaucoup de choses sur la fabrication du camembert et sur l'histoire de ce fromage. Scénographie très parlante et de nombreuses étiquettes de boites de camembert.
