LE LIT BLEU
Read morePastel decoration, trendy music, a chic and relaxed atmosphere, Le Lit Bleu is undoubtedly one of the trendy addresses in the city of Tarn. It could almost go unnoticed due to its location but its superb terrace has the gift of attracting the eye. Once you pass through the door, you will be surprised by a pleasant surprise. The establishment is design and contemporary, comfortable and warm, it is a well-crafted cocoon. The bar, in the centre of the room, enlivens the premises and waters the parties with delicious nectars. Many customers come to perch on the large chairs of the counter to discover the cocktails and tapas of the house. As for the restaurant's menu, it has the merit of being rich in proposal and original, even if in the realization this one is the victim of some approximations, in particular on the cooking side...

Côté déco, the color touch is given by the red benches stretching along the wall in front of square tables and chairs. The caramel colour wood warms the places where a large bar parallel to the tables creates a friendly proximity. On the plate, traditional French dishes, in sauce or cherry, perpetuate the bistro spirit and various suggestions, pasta, risottos, moulds, tartars, fresh fish, display on slate.

LE GOURMET
Read moreSince its opening in 2012, the Gourmet has enjoyed a very good word of mouth in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and surrounding municipalities. In the kitchen you can find Jackson Soubret who worked for many years alongside Gérard Royan, the former head of Magnolia in the Perreux. At the Gourmet, it offers a rustic, home-made cuisine that will marry the rhythm of the seasons with style. We start with an egg poached on its ceps ou or a pig marbled and homemade homemade liver. To follow a duck magret from Relevé mustard seed accompanied by a pick or an grilled façon manner. Finally, a baba rum or vanilla abundance. The plates are particularly greedy and generous, the dressage is simple, but without false note.
LA PISTACHE
Read moreIn a resolutely contemporary décor signed by the designer Edmond Garnier, this restaurant and bar-lounge welcomes you until late in the night. The chef, who is a follower of Mediterranean cuisine, favours local products and plays the freshness card: fresh goat crispy and chiselled menthe, piquillos grout; royal wolf or sea bream tartar, candied lemon; Rossini beef fillet on a bed of gingerbread, gras duck gras, pan duck and season vegetables; stripped of flambées flambées in pastis, wild rice; and in dessert, lemon cream, strawberry brunoise and fresh mint.
LE VIGO
Read moreWe like the care given to the original, multicoloured, trendy decoration, the chandeliers set with multicoloured gems, the walls stretched with white curtains through which the neck and head of an ostrich make their way beside your shoulder. A giraffe comes out of the ground, a monkey challenges us with its realistic expression. A tap without piping spits a continuous stream of water into a metal bucket. Contemporary, colourful, original and intriguing canvases form a harmonious and surprising whole. Here we welcome a clientele of employees in a hurry for lunch and nonchalant onlookers in the evening. As an appetizer, they bring us fries. Original and appreciated. We recommend as an appetizer the pumpkin soup with hazelnuts and a slice of bread with porcini mushrooms, or the foie gras which is excellent, as a main course, try the skewer of scallops just seized and its Asian wok, you will not believe it, or the lamb mouse with thyme and its parsnip puree. For dessert, the poached pear topped with almond cream and its French gingerbread will delight you. These examples come from the Vigo menu at €31.90, but the other formulas offer equally tasty dishes.
LE GOURMANDIN
Read moreIn this room, where mauve dominates, a peaceful atmosphere prevails. The traditional cuisine of this excellent table is tasty and delicate fumes. Christophe, Gilbert's former right arm, has been following his mentor for two years. He revisits the classics of the house while bringing her little touch of originality. The gourmandin offers a kitchen with fresh and seasonal produce. In summer, you will appreciate the elegance of a dinner or lunch on the large terrace overlooking a beautiful garden with fountain.
CHÂTEAU DE LA PERRIÈRE
Read moreWant to eat in a castle? It is possible, on the doorstep of Angers, between countryside and city… the Château de la Perrière has several locations for lunch outside, sheltered from its walls of the seventeenth century. A small room, the Salon de Guise, also allows to appreciate the seniority of the places, with its old painted beams. On the kitchen side, several menus are offered: Mrs. de Sévigné has the best choice of ingredients (langoustine, foie gras) in prepared dishes, such as the poached bar, broth broth and safranate potato. The Perrière menu offers marinated salmon in gravlax, entry, then a roasted cum filet and Cointreau sauce. The midday formula is simple: in the entrance, a poached melon (just ripe), a beef cheek at the gratin dauphinois and a strawberry garlic with a lemon tile and chantilly, a more sought-after dessert than previous dishes. Weakness: some days we are dealing only with beginner servers who must constantly check the information in the kitchen.
