Restaurant offering a gourmet stopover at the Jacquets with a traditional cuisine.
There are several ways to design a pilgrimage. On the way to Santiago de Compostela, the Auberge des Arrêts offers a gourmet stopover for Jacquets, as pilgrims to Santiago are called, and for all those who want to enjoy authentic country cuisine in a simple and friendly way. A rural atmosphere with a breathtaking view of the Grosne valley, for an inn where you are welcomed with a smile by Marine and Arthur, the new managers. They wanted to stay in the continuity of the hostel by offering a traditional, local, seasonal and homemade cuisine. As the menu changes every day, the pilgrim will have the choice between a meat menu and a vegetarian menu. Moreover, if the appetite comes while walking, the hostel offers a "hiker's plate" at any time of the day. You can relax on the terrace in summer and in the sofa area in winter. Whether we head back to Santiago or on the roads around the village to do a digestive walk, heart and body are filled with happiness. Possibility to receive groups up to 50 people.

Nous avions réservé le matin, pour fêter l'anniversaire de mon cher et tendre, nous sommes arrivés en retard, et malgré ça, la bonne humeur et le sourire du patron ont été plus qu'au rendez-vous.
Il a supporté avec patience et bienveillance notre petite troupe un peu alcoolisé, nous a servi des plats tous plus délicieux les uns que les autres. (Je n'ai pas pris de photo, grand regret, obligé de revenir très bientôt afin de remédier à ça.). C'est aussi bon que beau.
Je ne peux que recommander, j'ai mangé ET apprécié de l'agneau, le rumsteck cuisson bleu : parfaitement maitrisé et l'assaisonnement aussi. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de resalé ni poivré quoique ce soit.
Un très bon moment, et des jeux de sociétés sont a disposition (pour les enfants et les plus grands).
