AU MENIL
Read moreThe staff were very helpful and the staff were very helpful. For for the rest, the most important, therefore, you stand here one of Savigny's best tables, and even beyond. Here is the color, saying that a kitchen of yesterday is offered with the taste of today. It has to be said that it is still beyond. In a chic décor, the chef, who has made his arms to the greatest names of French cuisine, proves here that he has learned his lessons well. Classicism, respect for products and impeccable freshness are the assets of a finely crafted map. Special mention of desserts: do not look bigger than belly, and above all keep room for one. On the wine side, a wide choice, certainly the best of the city, and for which you will be driven by a sommelier. Addition may be high, but it is understood. Reservations, especially the weekend, highly recommended.

PIZZERIA RESTAURANT AL DENTE
Read moreThis establishment is found at the place-, a bottom of bay blocked by an old dyke. The buildings are perfectly in the style of the place, the stone house and the slate roof, although the three rooms, of forty covered each, have been completely redone. This is convenient for all tastes, because you can order crêpes or cakes, traditional dishes with seafood products, especially mussels, or excellent pizza based on fresh products (the establishment is certified Association des Pizzerias de France). It is essential to taste the shells to the cream of artichokes or in season the delicious abalone. But of course, sauerkraut and couscous of the sea are on the map. Good appetite!

LA RAPIÈRE
Read moreThe setting of this listed 16th-century building already is already worth the detour with its terrace offering a view of the facade of the Maison de la Boétie. Katia Fournier and Jordy Bordes have opted for a modern decoration while preserving what makes the room so charming: the blond stones, the pasted beams and the fireplace which adds a warm atmosphere. The tablecloth is clear: string-colored placemats placed on the white tablecloths bring modernity. The couple likes welcoming and offer a local cuisine. The idea of a menu that you compose yourself is original. As a starter, the Périgord casserole egg with its foie gras escalope is just delicious. In a dish alongside the traditional confit and duck breast, we like the red label poultry supreme and its mushroom sauce. For dessert, the chocolate fondant rivals the old Souillac's plum baba.

LULU DE CAVAGNAC
Read moreAt Lulu de Cavagnac, a wine bar, restaurant and delicatessen, well located between the old city and the centre, find all the flavours and the warmth of the Southwest France, accent included! Nothing was left to chance in the decoration of this trendy small place, fully glazed on street. The DIY-lights - chandeliers in stemmed glasses, in bottles or in food cans - take part in the jovial atmosphere of the bistro, just like the cellar nicely highlighted behind a XXL glass. Duo or numerous guests can be received in the friendly dining room, to discover about fifty wines of which several tens are offered by the glass. Lulu, of course, offers a wide range of bordeaux but that's not all since the menu offers a fine selection of wines from all over France. And to accompany the precious wine, there are several planchettes to taste: cold meat - freshly cut in front of you -, foie gras (Lafitte), caviar (Sturia), or cheese - tomette de brebis with Espelette peppers, coeur d'Alvignac, bouyguette of Tarn, fondant du Fédou... On the menu, you can also find duck pâté and fish rillettes, but also champagne, aperitifs and digestives or coffees and teas. On weekdays, the chef serves, for lunch, a menu of the day, consisting of a main dish, generally meat or fish at choice, and a dessert. Lover of the Southwest France, Ludovic Cachot offers an authentic cuisine, prepared with fresh regional produce. As for delicatessen, there are gourmet baskets to offer or to consume, and the rich selection of Basque country's products will bring the sunshine in your kitchen!
LE PATIO LITTRÉ

A stone's throw from the Maison Carrée, this is a gastronomic stopover not to be missed
LE DON CAMILLO
Read moreFranck and Delphine Harnet deserve success for their excellent table on the heights of Valencia. Quality has never fallen in this beautiful address that keeps the level on the length. Traditional French cuisine with inspiration from the world. On the Don Camillo menu during our visit: a compression of apple and fatty liver, honey juice and coriander; crisp bread chips in entry, followed by a yellow place of Saint-Guennolé cooked on skin, roast figs of Valette, chorizo confit. We got stuck with it. The dessert, a fig pie in length, Dulcey foam and red jelly has finished breathtaking. There is so much idea and control here that the client let himself be guided and we spring on a cloud. For amateurs, the menu menu will take you by hand and take you directly into the stars. We're emphatic, but there's something! The decor is a little treacherous but the perfect reception.
