Day 1: First day in Ghana
Steps: Accra
Arrival in Accra, contact with the population at the Marché market. Night in Accra.
MAKOLA MARKET
Day 2: Visit Accra
Steps: Accra
Visit to the National Museum, then shopping in Osu or at the Artists Alliance Gallery. Discover Osu's nightlife, restaurants and discos. Overnight in Accra.
NATIONAL MUSEUM
Day 3: Bowl of Fresh Air
The hills of Aburi, just behind Accra, await the visit of foreigners stunned by the chaos of the capital. Visit of the botanical garden. Night in Aburi.
Day 4: Artificel lake of Akosombo
Destination Akosombo. The journey must allow Koforidua (a Thursday if possible to visit the unique pearls market in the world). Late afternoon in Akosombo. Walk on the lake and drink along the Volta River. Night in Akosombo.
Day 5: Nature walks
Steps: Wli
Departure for Wli and Ghana's largest waterfall. Hiking in the country's highest mountains, on the edge of the Togolese border, and visiting remote villages. Overnight in the park (pre-arranged).
Day 6: Coastal village of Ada Foah
Wli-Ada Foah passing through Ho. Night at Ada Foah.
Day 8: Back to Accra
We enjoy a little more beach time at Ada Foah before heading back to Accra. Overnight in Accra.
Day 9: Visit the ancient capital
Steps: Cape Coast
Early morning departure for Cape Coast. Visit to Cape Coast forts and market. Overnight in Cape Coast.
Day 10: Visit to Kakum National Park
Trek in the park. Night in the forest, even in the treetops.
Day 11: Busua's long beaches
Steps: Cape Coast, Busua
Departure for Busua, via Cape Coast. Afternoon at the beach. Overnight in Busua.
Day 12: Last hours in Ghana
Steps: Accra
Return to the capital for last minute purchases. Night in Accra for departure the following day.
