This small town is actually made up of three small communities: Ada Kasseh inland, which is the town on the road between Accra and Aflao, Big Ada, and Ada Foah, where the main accommodation points of the area are located, on the edge of the Gulf of Guinea. In the latter area you will find a beautiful beach in the estuary of the Volta River. This place is known not for its waterfront, but for the beauty of the banks of Lake Volta. It is possible to practice water sports there, and many species of birds can be easily observed during a simple walk along the coastline, especially at Keta Lagoon, a protected area east of Ada, where the waterfront is very beautiful. However, swimming is not recommended (bilharzia). The Gulf of Guinea is preferable.
