Day 2: Visit Accra

Visit the National Museum of Ghana, lunch, then a stroll through the old quarter of Jame's Town. If there's any time left, spend it at the Makola market , where you'll experience the full African atmosphere. Overnight in Accra.
Day 3: Winneba, coastal town
Leisurely departure fromAccra for Winneba, a lazy day on the beach to finish acclimatizing to the country. Overnight in Winneba.
Day 4: Visit of the former capital
Steps: Cape Coast
On the road to Cape Coast, visit the fort, walk in the old town and visit the markets. Night in Cape Coast.
Day 5: Colonial remains in Elmina
Steps: Cape Coast, Elmina
From Cape Coast you must reach Elmina, which is only a few kilometres away. Visit of the Java Museum and the two forts of Elmina. Night in Elmina.
Day 6: Lazing on the beach
FromElmina, drive to Busua for a relaxing day at the beach. Overnight in Busua.
Day 7: Portuguese fortress of Axim
Steps: Cape Coast, Axim
The drive along the coast continues. Rise at dawn and visitAxim, its fort and traditional fishing port. Lunch at the Axim Beach Hotel, to enjoy the magnificent panorama and possibly the beach. Return to Cape Coast before nightfall.
