Day 1: Arrival in Ouagadougou

Steps: Ouagadougou

Hotel installation and refreshment in one of the many swimming pools of ouagalais hotels. Night at Ouaga.

Day 2: Discovery of the local life of Ouaga and direction Fada

Steps: Ouagadougou, Fada N'Gourma

Morning discovery of the capital: visit of the craft market, and tour of the city by cab or motorcycle to discover the different squares, neighborhoods, craftsmen... Lunch in Ouaga, then departure for Fada, capital of Gourma country. Night in Fada.

Day 3: Fada and its environs

Steps: Bobo-Dioulasso, Fada N'Gourma

Visit of the central market, purchase of honey all flowers or loincloths woven. After lunch in Fada, direction Kompienga. Walking in a canoe, swimming in a swimming pool in the rock. Night in Fada.

Day 4: Safaris in the Arly National Park

Steps: Parc National Du W

Departure for the park ofArly, which is the extension of the famous park of W, it extends on 92 500 hectares. Vision safari in search of lions, buffalos, elephants, leopards and other hippos. Night near the park of Arly.

Day 5: Rocky and green landscape of Gobnangou

Steps: Pama

Second vision safari in Arly Park. Departure in the afternoon for the cliffs of Gobnangou which offer a superb landscape. Rural region, famous for cotton cultivation. Night in Pama.

Day 6: Immersion in Gourounsi Culture

Steps: Tiébélé, Pama

Departure from Pama in the morning for the country gourounsi (transfer day), arrival in Tiébélé late in the day. Night in Tiébélé.

Day 7: Royal visit to Tiébélé

Steps: Tiébélé

Morning hike to the Nahouri peak, which is the highest point of the region (447 m). Guided visit in the afternoon to the Royal Court of Tiébélé with its king and his customs, discovery of the Kasséna architecture. Night in Tiébélé.

Day 8: Naturelle Nature reserve

Steps: Dori, Tiébélé

A market morning, that of Tiébélé or that of Guelwongo on the border of Ghana, which is a high-colour market, and the reputation of this market has exceeded borders. After lunch, departure for the Naturelle nature reserve for a vision safari late afternoon, looking for elephants, antelopes and other crocodiles. Night in Nazinga.

Day 9: Safaris and Hiking

Steps: Léo

Morning lift for a new vision safari within the ranch. Breakfast and departure from reserve for nearby forest: Sissili forest for vision tourism, hiking possibilities accompanied by a lift. Departure in the afternoon to spend the night to Leo.

Day 10: Cap on Gaoua

Steps: Gaoua, Léo

Start of Leo for a day of transfer, arrival in the afternoon in the country lobi. Night in Gaoua.

Day 11: Discovery day of lobi culture

Steps: Gaoua

Departure for an incursion into the Lobi villages, féticheurs, basket, basket,...... Visit of the Poni Museum, to explore the discoveries of the day. Night in Gaoua.

Day 12: Fortress of Loropéni

Steps: Diébougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Loropéni

Departure in the morning for Loropéni,first Burkinabe site classified as Unesco heritage, walk in the ruins-fortress still mysterious, which are a symbol of the power of the trans-Saharan gold trade. Lunch and departure for Bobo-Dioulasso. On the road, stop at Diébougou to visit the caves... and to look for the caiman that lives there. Evening and night in Bobo.

Day 13: Day in Bobo-Dioulasso

Steps: Bobo-Dioulasso

Visit of the Dioulassoba mosque (refurbished in early 2015), the old town with its craftsmen and sacred catfish, shopping at the central market, walk in the market gardens of Bolomakoté with some colonial vestiges, museum of the Music of yesterday and today. Evening in a Bobo maquis to the sound of the balafon. Night in Bobo.

Day 14: Perched village of Koro

Steps: Bobo-Dioulasso, Koro

Departure in the morning for the troglodyte village of Koro. After the visit of the village, possible hike between Koro and a peaceful camp for the end of the day or visit of the sacrifice site of Dafra. Night in Bobo.

Day 15: Freshness of the waterfalls of Banfora

Steps: Fabédougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Banfora

Departure in the morning from Bobo for Banfora and its fabulous waterfalls where swimming and lazing around in a breathtaking natural setting are the order of the day. At the end of the afternoon, visit the Fabedougou domes where the sunset is majestic. Night in Banfora.

Day 16: Rocky landscapes

Steps: Banfora, Sindou

Departure from Banfora for Sindou, with the visit of Pics peaks. At the end of the morning, excursion to Niansogoni and its cave village. Dinner and night in Sindou in a camp.

Day 17: Observation of the fauna along the water

Steps: Bobo-Dioulasso, Tengréla, Sindou

Early departure from Sindou for Tengrela and its hippos, dugout canoe ride to discover the mammals. Return to Bobo in the afternoon, evening and night in Bobo.

Day 18: Swimming and walking in the forest

Steps: Koumi, Bobo-Dioulasso

Departure in the morning from Bobo, for the site of the Guinguette. A few kilometers from Bobo, it is a place very popular with tourists and Bobolais on weekends, possible bathing in a natural pool in the middle of a lush vegetation. Walk in the forest of Kou which extends on 115 hectares, allowing you to discover the various species which grow in Burkina, in company of squirrels. Return to Bobo for the evening and the night.

Day 19: Observation of elephants and meeting with mask sculptors

Steps: Boromo, Parc National Des Deux-Balé

Departure in the morning for Boromo and the Deux-Balé National Park, 90,000 hectares populated by approximately 350 elephants. Stopover in the neighboring village of Ourobono to meet mask sculptors and a collective forge of the Wynié ethnic group. Visit of the park. Night in Boromo in a Nubian hut.

Day 20: Discovery of the Yonyone and Mossi cultures

Steps: Ouagadougou, Koudougou, Boromo

Departure from Boromo to Koudougou, thethird largest city in the country, inhabited by a community of Yonyonsé and Mossi, it is a city known for its resistance to the Compaoré regime. In Koudougou , there are spirulina farms (microscopic algae that have many medicinal properties) that can be visited. Departure from Koudougou to Ouaga in the afternoon. Evening and night in Ouaga.

Day 21: End of stay

Departure to country of origin.
