Stay : The East : Gourmantché country and natural reserves
To theeast, the nature reserves are the major attraction of this region. A vision safari allows you to observe the fauna and flora. Elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, cobs, hippotragues, hartebeests live in freedom. During the winter season, the parks are closed, the tracks are impassable and the observation of animals is impossible. The best time to go there is from November to the beginning of May.

Day 1: Arrival in Ouagadougou
Day 2: En route to East
Departure to Koupéla and Instance. Night in a village camp.
Day 3: Crossing of the Eastern provinces
Steps: Fada N'Gourma, Pama
Road to Pama and Kompienga via Fada N'Gourma. Night near the lake with boat tour.
Day 4: Safari in Arly Park
On the way to reserves. Safari in a hunting concession open to vision or visit of Arly Park (possible extension to Parc Park in Benin).
Day 5: Wildlife observation in the Nigerian W Park
Steps: Parc National Du W
Follow the road along the cliff of Gobnangou and then visit the park of the W of Niger (possible extension to the sections of the park in Benin and Niger).
Day 6: Cap on Diapaga
Steps: Fada N'Gourma, Diapaga
Last explorations of the national park and return "to civilization" via Diapaga. Night in Diapaga or Fada N'Gourma.
Day 7: End of stay
Short visit of the capital of the Gourmantché, return to Ouagadougou at noon, small tour of the crafts galleries and return flight after a last "ambiancé" meal.
