We will observe a rich poultry fauna, we will stroll in the colorful markets and we will share the life of the people of the Sahel. Beware of the practicability of the tracks during the winter and avoid the hot months (from April to June).

Detail of the stay : The Sahel - 8 days
Day 1: Arrival in Ouagadougou
First steps in Ouagadougou. Musical dinner in a maquis in the city.
Day 2: Observation of local crafts
To stop Kaya for lunch and to discover homemade productions (leather goods). Visit Bani and its mosques, possibly sleep or push up to Dori.
Day 3: Visit of Dori
Steps: Dori, Gorom-Gorom
Small tour of Dori, visit of the market and jewellers district and transfer to Gorom-Gorom.
Day 4: Stroll on the market of Gorom-Gorom
Steps: Gorom-Gorom
Central city of the Sahel, famous for its market where the peoples of the desert meet: Tuaregs, Peuls. Night in Gorom.
Day 5: Stopover in Markoye
Departure for Markoye on market day. Little tour in the village. The ponds of Markoye and Darkoy are at least as beautiful as that of Oursi. Night in Markoye or in Zigbéri.
Day 6: Cap on Oursi
Steps: Bazoulé, Gorom-Gorom, Oursi
Transfer to Oursi via Gorom or a small track (local guide required). Walk on the dune and visit the museum. Night in Oursi or in Gandéfabou (this campsite deserves 2 nights). Tuareg tea!

Day 7: Crossing the Sahel provinces
Steps: Kongoussi, Aribinda, Djibo
Small camel ride then road to Aribinda and Djibo. Stopover in Djibo, possibility of sleeping there or night in Kongoussi.
Day 8: Return to Ouagadougou
Steps: Manéga
Possibility to visit the Manéga museum on the way. Small tour of the artisanal galleries and return flight after a last meal.
