Tiébélé is a beautiful village, located at the foot of a hill in a landscape of plain, inhabited by the Kasséna, related to some of the ethnic Gourounsi origin originating in Loumbila, north of Ouagadougou, which would have arrived here several centuries ago. The village, which tries to be inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage Site, has remained virtually intact and, apart from some recent concessions at the entrance to the village, its main nucleus is composed of traditional beads. There are some wonderful examples of the architecture of this people. The highly recommended Royal Court tour offers an excellent introduction to traditional kasséna life, which is gradually being lost. The guides association is exemplary and deserves the congratulations of visitors. This effectiveness could serve as an example for other associations across the country. The official guides are located at the entrance to the Royal Court. Electricity is installed in almost all the village. From Tiébélé you can visit the beautiful village of Tangassogho and its kassenas concessions. Continue by Kaya to reach the peak of the Nahouri, the highest summit in the region (447 m).
