Every Wednesday, the Provencal market of Gémenos takes place under the Halle des Arcades, Cours Sudre. On the stalls you will find the spirit of the markets of Provence with fresh and good: fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, products of producers and local products. All you need to go to the kitchen to prepare good southern dishes. The market of Gémenos is color, smells, a typical atmosphere of Provence.

A new kind of gourmet market has opened on boulevard Longchamp, in place of a former theater. After a great deal of hard work and self-sacrifice, the trio of Amaury, Pierre and Hugo were finally able to open a beautiful indoor market at the beginning of September 2023, an inspiring and quite unique venue in the city center. Featuring a greengrocer offering only local fruit and vegetables (with the exception of citrus fruits from Sicily and Corsica), a cheesemonger, a wine shop, a butcher, a bakery corner by Ferments Bakery and, last but not least, the market auction by our long-time favorite, ex-Nico Coquillages, the various counters are just waiting for you to do your shopping. Affordable prices, a great approach by the creators to reduce margins without skimping on quality and seasonality. Bulk wine from the Alpilles. Organic grocery corner. A marvellously well thought-out address! I love the stained glass windows under the glass roof. Magnificent.

A must on the market of the Place des Prêcheurs, one often queues in front of the beautiful stall of this fishmonger who delivers to the restaurants Sauvage and Gallifet, two fine restaurants in Aix. Sea bream, sole, lean fish according to the season, red tuna in summer, fished on our Mediterranean coasts. Oysters, sea urchins, scallops, crabs, shrimps and prawns... And also cooked dishes: paella, stuffed squid, ceviche, monkfish Armorican style, homemade dishes by Boris and Adrien who provide a catering service at home for your receptions.

After training at the Institut Paul Bocuse and specializing in cured meats with MOF Arnaud Nicolas, Raphaël Chiappero returned to France, took over the markets and has now opened a stall in the Passage Agard: an opportunity to come and discover charcuterie in all its forms at any time: sausages, but above all his specialties, delicious patés en croûte (pork, poultry, game and foie gras), slow-cooked terrines, a real treat, and other pressés or rillettes... Whether it's for dinner with friends, an aperitif or a meal, you'll never be disappointed! If you're more of a seafood person, you'll also find fish terrines, boudins de la mer and salmon gravelax.

Le Petit Futé met this family on a beautiful Provencal morning at the Egalyères market. A meeting with a "golden" family! The stall is superb, richly stocked with fresh, tasty fish and other seafood. As for the smile, it's a sunny one. Lolo offers Mediterranean fish fresh from the famous Grau-du-Roi fish auction. The salmon-cabillaud brochettes are delicious. Shellfish platter at Christmas, tuna in summer, terrines, etc. We recommend this indispensable "tour"!

Already present on the Lambesc, Velaux and Pélissane markets for the past 7 years, Le traiteur Breton opens in Aix on Thursday and Saturday mornings. Fish dishes, such as baked trout or stuffed squid, with a fine veal-based stuffing, accompanied by mashed potatoes, potatoes grenaille riz or eggplant gratin alla parmeggiana. Meat dishes are also available. Takeaway for lunch or an evening out with friends. Orders can be taken over the phone, so there's no need to queue...

He's always willing to share his passion with you, and his stall is sure to delight all your senses... All fresh, mouth-watering Mediterranean fish, including a spectacular Mediterranean red tuna. His end-of-year platters are also worth a detour! You'll find Lolo at all the markets in Provence, especially the one in Eygalières every Friday morning on rue de la République.

Doing your market like in the old days in covered halls, a pleasure that is given to us in the country of Aix in Eguilles in a contemporary industrial style. Around the central aisle, the stalls are lined up with beautiful products: fish, meat, fresh produce, cheese, two caterers - Italian and Asian -, a wine cellar, a pastry shop and the Confiserie d'Entrecasteaux calissons factory. You can do your shopping there but not only, since a tea room and 2 restaurants -La Cantina and le Comptoir d'Entrecasteaux- extend the stalls of the Halles. A multiple place which is not only dedicated to the pleasures of the palate, one meets there at the end of the week in Afterwork around musical animations (DJ groups), tapas and pizza.
