For flower lovers, the Prado market is a must, set up on the avenue's wide sidewalks.

This is Marseille's biggest flower market. Set out on the even-numbered side of boulevard du Prado every Friday morning, it is supplied by many of the region's horticulturalists and florists. It's easily accessible by metro, streetcar and bus, as well as by car from the Castellane parking lot just below. And after you've done your shopping - or simply taken a stroll to delight your senses - you can enjoy a well-deserved rest on one of the terraces of the many nearby bistros.
