In their musical restaurant-bar, Véro and Pilou, welcome you in a friendly atmosphere with an undeniable pleasure. Their pub located at the entrance to the ramparts of the medieval walled city, in the heart of the Haut-Verdon, promises you beautiful themed evenings (concerts, karaoke, etc.). The cuisine is family oriented and the menu offers alternating mountain dishes or Belgian specialities. Every Friday, it is the meeting place for lovers of mussels and chips accompanied by a Belgian beer chosen from among the twenty or so available. Usually the service is fast, the cooking is correct, with generous portions. The staff is pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. On sunny days you can choose to sit at a table on the terrace. For all lovers of good food! Le Couvert has been bathed in its juice since the 1900s. Taken over eight years ago by Johnny and Marine, craftsmen and cooks, it opens its doors to a pretty intimate, rustic, Provençal and comfortable room that has recently been given a makeover. On the walls are pictures of Marine's ancestors. The covered terrace under the arcades is popular for most of the year when the weather is good. The plate, on the other hand, is traditional, regional and inventive. Johnny works with seasonal products, meat and fish. Suggestions include: guinea fowl with olives, skate wing with lemon and capers. It is Marine who signs the desserts like this cheesecake with its red fruit coulis, or this chocolate mousse with salted butter. Everything is homemade and it's a treat! The regulars will tell you, everything is remarkably good and the years do not change anything: not a wrinkle for the Connemara. You will be seated in a cosy interior, with regular exhibitions of local artists on the walls. The food is tasty and made with fresh products, just in time. Among the specialities: a large choice of Breton cakes, pancakes but also large fresh salads, burgers, tartars without forgetting the cellar of ciders and Breton craft beers.

The taste of Brittany since 1989 in Digne-les-Bains. In 2019, the Buccaneers blew out their thirtieth candle. Sylvie and Michel are at the piano and Yvon in the hall. These brothers and sisters, originally from Brittany, welcome us in a warm atmosphere. You can sit down in one of the two rooms, including an ideal vaulted ceiling for small groups or on sunny days on the terrace under the arbour overlooking the market square. Everything here is homemade. On the menu more than a hundred pancakes of your choice, buckwheat pancakes and wheat pancakes. We fall for the special Buccaneers, scallops, leeks and creamy carrots or even for almond, almond cream, pears, toasted almonds. Yvon is taking care of himself and the pancakes, whether sweet or salty, are a real delight. All this is accompanied by clogged or pressed ciders. For the unconditional: red and rosé wines. An address that sees generations pass by!

La Flambée is aptly named: the oven and the heat is a return to the roots, an invitation to travel through time because it allows a mild and warm cooking that takes its time and which reminds us that it is good to do that. It evokes us the flavour of the stews of our grandmothers. It is this unique flavour and this authentic taste that La Flambée invites you to discover and enjoy around traditional dishes, braised meats, salads, galettes and pizzas without forgetting the desserts (chocolate banana, Tatin tart...): all go through the wood-burning oven present in the room. Close to the fire or by the fountain, you will be served very pleasantly and at reasonable prices.

Le Tetras, a small restaurant a little lost in the valley but where it is possible to enjoy a traditional gourmet cuisine neat and well presented which has earned the label of Master Restorer. The reception of the boss is friendly and the service is also very friendly. Some specialities of the moment à la carte: chaource in crust, poached pear and a thousand leaves of old vegetables with bacon; mushrooms and artichokes with barigoule, foie gras and scallops with truffles, prawn linguines, lobster soup; boneless saddle of rabbit stuffed with autumn scents; beef pear (300 gr) with porcini mushrooms... or daily menu with 3 dishes to choose from. This day we chose: braised piglet rack, polenta and vegetables, a dessert of our choice and a coffee. The atmosphere is friendly, whether in the room or on its pleasant sheltered wooden terrace and the remarkable price/quality ratio.

In a modern and warm setting, the restaurant offers good inventive pizzas cooked over a wood fire (vegetarian, goat cheese-honey, creole with Colombo or Banonnaise chicken, which features Banon goat's cheese) and dishes with Creole influences (also cooked over a wood fire), rather original in this area of Provence! Chef Yvan Desrey is a lover of cuisine, Mediterranean dishes and traditional cuisine. He will delight your taste buds with his daily specials: chicken escalope in the Bocconcini style, Provençal beef stew, but also, for the Creole, chicken, lamb, fish or prawns, colombo, jerk-rub, curry or massalé dishes. The menu includes traditional and Provençal specialities such as roasted duck breast, leg of lamb with tapenade, Banon fondant or Meenne plate, which showcases local specialities flavoured with oils from the various mills located nearby. In summer, you can take advantage of the two terraces of the restaurant.

Aïoli, pot-au-feu, stewed beef paupiettes, sheep's feet with sheep tripe, lamb stew, beef stew and other Provençal dishes are simmered at this no-frills village bistrot, which also offers paella evenings, concerts, country competitions...
