Paris-Story invites you to discover the history of Paris through a montage of images of yesterday and today. It is presented on a panoramic screen of twelve metres and is punctuated by the appearance in holo-video of an actor playing the role of Victor Hugo, which serves as a guide. This tourist attraction is complemented by a passage in front of plasma screens - one of them has a 3 D effect - broadcasting clips devoted to various themes: Paris and the Seine, monumental Paris, Paris des s, Paris at night, secret Paris and unusual. Finally, you have a large interactive model of the capital that allows you to locate 156 famous sites.

The Army Museum tells the story of weapons and the art of war from the Middle Ages to the Second World War. You will discover superb weapons and various armors, historical pieces such as the sword of François I or the frock coat and hats of Napoleon I. Extremely rich, the museum is divided into four departments that follow a chronological order. One can also discover the Cabinet of figurines or the Cabinet of artillery models which houses one of the most important collections of this type in the world.

Welcome to this temple of the Far East. Most of the collections presented in this museum were brought back by Clémence d 'Ennery to the end of the nineteenth century, when fashion was «chinoiserie». This passion has accumulated treasures in his particular hotel, which was finally transformed into a permanent exhibition site in 1908. It is attached to the National Museum of Asian Arts Guimet.

As for Galerie des Gobelins, it was built in 1914; the word Gobelins is simply derived from a family of dyers, the Gobelin - with no s! - who settled there in the fifteenth century in the Saint-Marcel neighbourhood that had already specialized in this activity. The weavers finally settled under the reign of Henri IV in the premises belonging to them. During the reign of Louis XIV, Colbert who was the minister at the time decided to make this site a real factory with a mission to produce exceptional quality curtains for royal palaces and embassies. Attached to the administration of Mobilier National in 1937, this factory is still set at the highest level in terms of quality and creativity. One of the traditions of this factory is to reach out to the greatest visual artists of the moment in order to imagine new patterns.
