A museum whose collections present 2,000 years of Jewish history and culture from Europe to the Mediterranean

Located in the Hôtel de Saint-Aignan, the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme presents 2,000 years of Jewish history and culture from Europe to the Mediterranean, from medieval times to the present day. The exhibition is structured around a series of objects and original works, with a particular focus on the Jewish communities of France, as well as Sephardic, Ashkenazi, Italian and Dutch cultures. Not to be missed: the beautiful temporary exhibitions and themed concerts.

Opening time and information on MUSÉE D’ART ET D’HISTOIRE DU JUDAÏSME

Open Tuesday to Friday from 11am to 6pm; weekends from 10am to 6pm. Public holidays from 11am to 6pm. Exhibitions: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 11am to 6pm, Wednesday from 11am to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm, public holidays from 11am to 7pm. Museum closed on January 1st, May 1st, Jewish New Year's Day (Roch Ha-Shana) and Great Forgiveness Day (Yom Kippur) and Monday. Adult: €10 (reduced rate €7). Visit 2 hours outside the walls from mid-May to mid-August (€14 in full price; €8 for those under 26 years old; €7 for those under 18 years old). Tourism & Disability Label. Guided tour.

Ce musée est superbe et permet de découvrir ou re-découvrir la culture et la religion juive. Les expositions y sont très chouettes. Je vous conseille vivement l'exposition actuelle sur Goscinny.
