Museum managed by the Fondation Culturespaces, whose aim is to facilitate access to culture for sick or underprivileged children.

The Jacquemart-André museum is nestled in a sumptuous 19th-century mansion. This former home of a wealthy collector couple, André and Nélie Jacquemart, gives an idea of what life was like for art lovers in those days. Now owned by the Institut de France (the French Academy), it is managed by the Fondation Culturespaces, whose aim is to facilitate access to culture for sick or underprivileged children. On the second floor, you'll find over a hundred works by some of the world's greatest artists: Botticelli, Bellini, Carpaccio and Uccello. On the first floor, you'll find French paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries (Fragonard, Boucher), Flemish, Dutch (Van Dyck, Rembrandt) and English. You'll also admire precious Louis XV and Louis XVI period furniture, tapestries, a monumental staircase and a garden. You'll also be enchanted by Café Jacquemart-André, one of Paris's finest tearooms, offering light lunches in a refined dining room. And don't forget the temporary exhibitions on display here.
