A museum offering a wealth of films, documents, and period testimonies in all their forms.
A place to pay tribute to General Leclerc and Jean Moulin, and to the Parisians who liberated the capital in 1944. The museum has been relocated to the very spot where, during the liberation of Paris, Colonel Rol-Tanguy's command post, then head of the Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur, was located. Located beneath the museum, it is of course the highlight of a visit already rich in films, documents and period testimonies in all their forms.

On apprend beaucoup sur ce qu’à été la période de l’occupation allemande et sur les mentalités de l’époque. Beaucoup de présentations vidéo. Personnel adorable

Fantastic free museum if you are interested in what happened in WW2. Displays are in French with English summaries. Lots of cafes just outside. Lockers for bags need a 1 euro coin which you get back. Highly recommend.

En plus de cela, l'entrée est gratuite (en tout cas le dimanche, peut-être les autres jours aussi? je ne sais pas).
J'en suis ressortie très émue, les vidéos sont extrêmement bien choisie et sélectionnées (ce qui est vraiment très rare dans un musée).
Ne manquez surtout pas la vidéo des témoignages des résistants, elle est extrêmement bien réalisée et vraiment touchante (regardez-la jusqu'à la fin)! Elle se trouve à l'étage inférieure, dans la 2ème "salle". Beaucoup de médias variés, une exposition très esthétiquement réalisée, de beaux choix de textes et objets.
-> Il y a aussi la possibilité de visiter le bunker, très intéressant aussi. L'expérience dure 25 minutes, c'est en visite libre, mais on peut remonter avant si on a fini.
