Museum of Montmartre presenting a collection of paintings, posters and drawings, to relive the history of the Butte.
A beautiful place to discover. Here, these old houses surrounded by gardens were the residence of artists such as Auguste Renoir, Émile Bernard, Raoul Dufy or Maurice Utrillo. You will discover a unique collection of paintings, posters and drawings that will make you relive the history of the Butte, the artistic effervescence of its workshops and the atmosphere of its famous cabarets. Start your visit with an immersive show and discover the history of Montmartre through the eyes of Suzanne Valadon: a great introduction to this unique place.

The garden is bautiful and you can relax there after and before put yourself in the crwod of Montmartre. The first building offers a view on the past history of cabarets and la commune, but it is not very attractive. The second one offers now an exhibition on painters that did not appeal me particularly apart Toulouse-Lautrec
