Amateur of old mechanics, this museum is made for you! Originally, this museum was the dream of the Association Le Chaudron, which aimed to present its collections within a museum, in order to make them discover them to as many people as possible. In 1993, after five years of construction, the museum finally opened its doors. Since then, it has welcomed thousands of visitors in a 1,500 ^m2 space divided into three parts. Most of the museum is used to display steam engines, cars and trucks from rural life. The second is used as a miniature shop and documentation centre. Finally, a specific place is dedicated to the maintenance and, above all, to the restoration of rare pieces, which can sometimes exceed a hundred years old.

This beautiful structure allows the lateral canal to cross the Loire. He's 243 meters tall. Built from 1834 to 1838 by the engineers Adolphe Jullien and Jean-Joseph Vigoureux, it was enlarged in 1870 and redesigned between 1890 and 1896. Only boats or pedestrians have access to it.

Designed by Fabienne and Joël Bourras, Jardin sans secrets is a 12,000^m2 site, divided into complementary plots. Nature is directed here, but above all it is respected, with a concern for biodiversity. Wild areas, an orchard, an edible garden, an arboretum, a pond and an English garden are all part of this universe of endemic plants or, on the contrary, plants brought back from travels. The couple plant some 300 plants a year. Here, you can stroll, enjoy a cup of tea or a picnic, sleep in a small gîte or park your camper van.

The Moulin musée de Ménetreuil, an imposing building on the Sane river, has had several lives. It has now been restored to its 1950s state. It's a fine museographic achievement, providing an insight into the milling world of the time. Millstones, hoppers and grinders are still in place. The fun, interactive tour continues with the theme of water and its importance in human society.
