Belonging to the network of the Ecomusée du Morvan, the Maison du Patrimoine Oral d'Anost is a place where the oral heritage of the Morvan region is collected, preserved and transmitted. In this place, we try to preserve the imagined language, the drawling accents, the traditional music and songs, the stories and the legends. This house brings answers to what this orally transmitted popular culture offers to our present by putting it in perspective with the future.

la maison du patrimoine oral contient un petit musée de type ethnographique faisant partie de l'écomusée du Morvan , et qui mérite largement la visite. Il s'agit du musée des galvachers. Il relate une des activités caractérisques du pays qui s'est éteinte dans les années 1970. Il s'agit de l'activité de charroyeurs, saisonniers nomades qui louaient leurs services parfois loin de chez eux, de mai à novembre. Le musée est fort bien documenté et le courage des ces hommes peut émouvoir
