On the hillside, two lions guard the gate and the bridge. The castle has retained four round towers (13th century) and a main building from the medieval period. The satirical gentleman Roger de Rabutin, to whom we owe the work Histoire amoureuse des Gaules and also cousin of Madame de Sévigné, was born in 1618. Privately owned, it has been listed as a historical monument since 1975.

Prachtig mooi kasteel. We hebben alleen het omliggende park bezocht dus we zijn er niet in geweest. Niet heel veel bloemen in het park, maar wel grote moestuin waar je even doorheen kunt lopen
