CHÂTEAU DE BRANCION
The château is an imposing example of medieval military architecture.
Built on a hill in the middle of the 10th century, Château de Brancion dominates the entire valley. A visit to the château provides an insight into its tumultuous history, which saw it change hands several times until the 16th century. After falling into ruin, it was gradually rebuilt from 1860 onwards. Today, it is one of the major attractions of this medieval village. The view from the top of the keep is impressive. For children's enjoyment, visits can be made in medieval costume, and activities and workshops are organized during the vacations.
