A city of mosaics, Paray-le-Monial was once home to the famous Cerabati factory, which produced some of the world's finest ceramics. Today, Paray-le-Monial is one of the European cities that regularly attracts the world's greatest mosaic artists. The Maison de la Mosaïque Contemporaine, an art center, training and documentation center and venue for the dissemination and creation of mosaics, retraces the history of mosaics on video. It also offers courses, temporary exhibitions and a mosaic garden.

Alors que l'office de tourisme nous avait dit que le musée était ouvert nous nous sommes casse le nez sur la porte sans qu'aucune explication ne soit donnée sur cette fermeture. Pas très correcte.
