Open - Close to 13h00

It is only a few steps away from the famous Notre-Dame church owl that you will find this delicious bakery well known by the Dijon inhabitants. Very elegant, with a modern space, the bakery does not only offer bread but also many exclusive specialties. Here it is with the family that we work and it is with a certain pride that the Blanchard couple saw Charly obtain the diploma of best young baker of the department. The customers, young and old, are not mistaken and know that they can come and get their breakfast as well as their lunch or snack at 4pm. Colourful entrees that revisit the great classics, biscuits, cakes and cookies (a real delight!) attract the gourmands. The creations follow the seasons, with for example numerous savoury shortbreads for the aperitif: truffles, epoisses or even mustard from Fallot. During the festive season, the Logs compete with inventiveness to enchant the desserts of refined dinners. Ideas are numerous and so are novelties, note the arrival of spelt bread and Edelweiss, an adorable cake with almonds, vanilla cream and chopped nougatine. A temple of gluttony!

Among the range of gifts and delicacies available, you'll find homemade products as well as those used in the kitchens of the famous restaurant. AU PAIN DE MON GRAND-PÈRE

Open - Close to 13h00

A small queue at rush hour: the success of this bakery is not only due to its beautiful location but also to the continuous flow of fresh bread. Faithful to the entire chain of the same name, the Dijon bakery produces quality bread whose flours are mostly organic. The breads with a crispy crust are reminiscent of the breads of bakeries of yesteryear with the sweet scent of fresh sourdough. Beaujolais bread, bread made with chestnut, rye, honey and hazelnut flour, spelt crown... Whether traditional or special, the baker who makes them prefers wholemeal flours and sourdough dough; he likes to praise the quality of his suppliers and the care taken in baking. Moreover, the formulas proposed at lunchtime are convincing: burgers and other varied sandwiches or generous quiches are added to a pastry for copious lunch breaks. A beautiful address for beautifully made products.

Bon Jour Bon pain is a quality bakery where it is easy to make a stop to refuel. Located on Avenue du Drapeau, access is nevertheless very easy thanks to a large car park located just in front of the shop. Thierry Sallin and his partner are passionate people who are committed to offering the best to their customers. To satisfy your sweet tooth and your requirements, they have even created a unique baguette in Dijon: the Petrisane. Its dough ferments for nearly 12 hours and the manufacturing secret is well kept.... The result is delicious! As a bonus, the baguette is crispy and keeps well! Sandwiches, gougères, special breads, pastries, pastries: everything is strictly homemade and made with local flour! Special mention for the snack side which offers delicious sandwiches for lunch break like the one with béchamel mustard sauce, what an originality! Quiches, too, have their followers. For dessert, puddings, brownies and especially plain custards, with fruit, pistachio, coffee, caramel or speculoos are excellent. It is possible to taste them on site because the bakery also has a tea room... We recommend the delicious homemade shortbread (Gerbe d'or recipe) to be discovered as soon as possible, whether they are with speculoos, salted butter caramel, raspberry or Tagada strawberry. A warm and above all a qualitative place to visit as soon as possible!

This pastry with a history and what a history! Created then taken again in 1900 in 1943, it was transmitted to the children. Crossing the one century which feels at the time of the tasting in particular of Pineapple and Charny which made the notoriety of the house. A know-how outstanding with the service of our delicacy. What would you say of a nun to the café, the chocolate and even to strawberry, of a Carmelite nun (the specialty with blackcurrant), of a lemon pie covered with meringue... presently of the afternoon snack with a good hot chocolate? Besides being extremely friendly and to abound in new ideas, Madame Mourot-Devos has a gourmet characteristic: it is the only one in Dijon to carve the chocolate! Here, you can thus rediscover Dijon and its symbols while pleasing your tastebuds: bear Pompom, nice, snail out of chocolate but also out of gingerbread. The specialties Mourot-Devos are known on the Dijonese place. The good bread of this bakery is part of everyday life and its success goes far beyond the Montchapet quarter! Furthermore, the reception is charming. Prepared with the best raw materials, campaillette baguettes, campaillou breads and seed céraine, you will not allow time to go home to taste them, the temptation will be too strong. Classic, the pastry is mostly very desirable: fig, abundance and company… without forgetting Mozart, the specialty of the house: a black chocolate foam and a burnt cream with orange. There has also been a series of meringues who only sought to be eaten. The Little Mozart gives in the salty version with some pies, including the one to the Noix nuts and the famous Dijonnaise (county, tomato, mustard). With regard to pastry, we are pleased to report after having gôuté two delicious specialities: The Cappucino, creamy vanilla coffee version, hum, too good and the Dijonnaise in the field of bavrois that makes it wonderful with the association praline pistachio and Bavarian cassis! A real treat! No change in bakery, bread is always excellent! A good address.

It's been 20 years since Olivier Bourau is here! His pastry of Nuits-Saint-Georges opened in 1998 after his teacher was educated in various houses in France and England. Once in his shop, he created a real paradise for gourmets! In this way, it offers a wide choice of delicacies sold at a single price, which can be quoted as choco-cassis, which consists of a black chocolate foam and a casculoos foam, and the foam foam to the caramel and pears, apples and cinnamon that will delight you! The map evolves with the seasons and offers the best. Chocolate side, if black black bears bring back to childhood the others offer beautiful discoveries with, for example, chocolates from Madagascar or Venezuela. For a good time, go to the tea room which is comfortable and allows you to taste good things with a tea selected among 90 references. Finally, the Bourau pastry offers you a e-shop on its site! At the top of the decoration trend, the shop adorned with brown and turquoise makes you want to stop by to see what's hidden in this beautiful setting. Inside, no surprise, Belgian chocolates, true to their reputation, are tasty: pralines, ganaches, mousses, orangettes, cherries, liqueur chocolates, fruit pastes, artisanal dragées or even chocolate squares to accompany coffee. The recipes are creative and you can buy 250 g, 500 g or even one kilo boxes for the most gourmands. With the approach of holidays, such as Easter or Mother's Day, the shop offers new creations and adapts to a demanding demand for quality. Good point: the boxes and gift packages are very neat. Beautiful and good, they are perfect for the taste buds, less for the line. While continuing to stroll around the shopping centre, treat yourself to a chocolate to enjoy, or an Italian-style ice cream: chocolate and pistachio in winter, raspberry sorbets and passion in summer. This year we noticed the cone with its recipe of praline gianduja with hazelnuts and almonds, there are two new recipes, one with an intense taste is the cone with dark chocolate and one with a crispy gianduja... We're losing it!

From cereal production to bakery there are many steps, yet Reynal and Laure Bernard have travelled them. This franchise was installed at the entrance to the commercial area of Quétigny. Good news for all those who work and live near this address. In addition to the fact that the sign promotes an artisanal manufacturing (the various breads are made and cooked on the spot in your eyes), it is also the paradise of the small and the great meal. The sandwiches adapt to all tastes, from panini kebab to the bagnat pan passing through the classical to the rosette. And that is not everything: a pizza card to take, at low prices, is also in the program since the pizza paste is made from the bread dough. For the more elaborate side, go to the catering radius where salads rub les and slices. Of course, there is a lot of sweets and pastries. CHEZ NICOLAS

Glacier
3.1/5
14 reviews
Open - Close to 13h00

Pastry chef, chocolate maker and ice-cream maker Nicolas Cantali, who took over this historic pastry shop in Semur in 2018, has been perfectly adopted by the regular customers of the place. It must be said that he comes from Semur and that his training led him from the Bernard Loiseau hotel school to this parent company, after which he practiced pastry for nearly ten years. All that remains is for him to express this talent that he puts into his pastry creations, balanced and tasty, from the classics to the most original, such as this sweetened salted Christmas log that combines foie gras mousse and fig compote on a speculo honey base. The dome chocolate dessert caramel heart meringue on shortbread is very good. Nicolas perpetuates the secret recipe of Granit Rose de l'Auxois, a biscuit with almonds coated in orange chocolate with hazelnut chips and candied cherries in the heart. In summer, it is Nicolas' ice creams that you should treat yourself to and, throughout the year, it is his range of chocolates that you should discover. Chocolate carving is also one of your chocolate maker's passions, he makes subjects every season; in spring, there were men's and women's shoes that we don't even dare to eat!

CHAPATISSE

Gourmet catering
5/5
1 review

Chapatisse is two young women who had the idea of embarking on the adventure of baking to order. Charlotte and Audrey, one with a solid background in chocolate and pastry making with a catering option, the other with a background in management, have taken on the challenge of producing quality products with authentic flavours using local products as much as possible. Everything is made to order and on the production site, cream, topping, praline...for gourmet and aesthetically stunning creations. A menu is already proposed with great classics such as Charlotte, Paris-Brest, Opera, Mille-Feuille or Lemon Tart, but Charlotte can also create a special recipe for you. On the catering side, we offer a whole range of sweet and savoury tarts. In addition, customers can place orders every Sunday evening for pizzas modo (restaurant size) or grosso (very big appetite size). The names sound Burgundian like La Vouge, La Georges, La Bourgui or La Citeaux. In addition to the presence at the laboratory, the young ladies hold a permanent presence every Friday morning at the Nuit-Saint Georges market or at the Locavor on Wednesdays at the end of the day.

Jonathan Pautet's boutique is located in the heart of the city, and has one thing in common: its fine, delicate flavors. The staff take the time to advise you and give you details of the tastes, often specifying the origin of the products used. Among the pastry chef's specialties are choux pastries, brightly colored, crisp and melt-in-your-mouth, just the way some people like them. Try the lime.

Chocolate maker-confectioner for over twenty years, Sébastien Hénon has a pretty fine chocolate range with some thirty different delicacies (fruity, marsipan cakes, chocolates, etc.). We particularly like the chocolate almond paste and candied orange cubes, the Kir ganache with its dark chocolate and its pulp of cassis, or the excellent black chocolate flavoured with cinnamon. You can also enjoy the macaroons, they are with salted butter, chestnuts and rum or montmorency and broad bean tonka. Only the evocation of taste offered, you think that Sébastien Hénon earned its title of conjuguor of flavours… During your stay in shop, also discover the mini-madeleines, cookies, a fine selection of chocolate bars as well as the spreads with fruit, hazelnut, caramel or vanilla. The delights of Sébastien Hénon are available today in two shops: enough to satisfy the gourmets, they are small or large! < br/>
