Passed down from generation to generation, Benoît Sordet, owner of Domaine Coste-Caumartin continues to keep this 13-hectare estate alive. Concerned about the environment and biodiversity, the estate has obtained the HVE (High Environmental Value) level 3 label, as of the 2019 vintage harvest. This distinction is a guarantee of quality work that allows the vine to flourish. We find among others Saint-Romain, Beaune1er Cru for the whites and in red of Pommard and Pommard 1er Cru of which "Le Clos des Boucherottes", Clos in monopoly. Very beautiful wines raised in oak barrels which develop all their quality in a superb vaulted cellar of the XVIIth century.

The family has been in the vineyard since 1766. Daniel Maillard created his field in 1952. Representatives of the second generation, the two brothers Pascal and Alain Maillard lead the field by distributing the tasks: Alain takes care of the vines while Pascal works in the winemaking and marketing of wines. The area covers 19 hectares and 8 villages. A traditional, rational and weed culture. One of the peculiarities of the house is to work with the lunar calendar, it seems to succeed it! An impressive area with perfectly maintained buildings, a tasting cellar of about 30 m ² and a cellar of 500 m ². The wines of the estate present in many (good) restaurants in the region.

Here, we do not play games with quality: reasoned culture, manual harvesting for a healthy and whole grapes, manual harvest for a healthy and whole grape, traditional vinification in oak barrels for 8 to10 months to provide a maximum of freshness and flexibility. A proof of the quality of the production? The wines are regularly awarded by prestigious guides. The estate offers fifteen appellations at reasonable prices namely: Monthelie, Volnay , Pommard or Beaune and Auxey-Duresses for red wines. It is probably also because Laurent has already worked as a merchant for 20 years before opening his own cellar. He is well acquainted with Burgundy wine growers and about 150 in his shop. The prices it offers are as low as possible. The cellar also has an impressive beer radius with more than 300 references… and strong alcohols are also well represented. The top 50 of the whiskies and its top 20 of the rums are appreciated. Add to all this that it is one of the few wine merchants in Beaune able to host one or more buses. New in 2015, Bareuzai begins a new life! Completely transformed into a winery by the Charousset establishments, well known in the region as they are head of a network of 8 Burgundian cellars, they continue their ascent by taking this sign. The location is remarkable. Just opposite the mountain of Corton which gives birth, with 150 hectares of vineyards, to wonderful Côte-de-Beaune every year. The burgundy roof of the building does not cheat, the cellar of Bareuzai knows what it is talking about. You will find a wide selection of wines from Burgundy in white and red, including some regional designations and very great wines. To be complete, the cellar also offers you champagnes and creamy and even bib (bag in box), very fashionable lately. Not to mention the spirits: Whiskies, liqueurs… Not only in bottles of wines, of quality, but also the establishment makes a wine bar. It is an opportunity to taste the vintages of the house and to accompany them with slate of meats and local cheeses. Sit on the terrace or in the cellar by privatizing it for a group tasting with your friends or workstations.

DOMAINE SEBASTIEN MAGNIEN

The Domaine Sébastien Magnien is a young domain by name only because it is descended from the Domaine Parigot de Meloisey. Created and installed in Meursault since 2004, the estate has the assets. Managed by Brigitte and his son Sébastien, the estate is perfectly located in the heart of Meursault: Welcome porch, large inner courtyard, nineteenth century house, xvii century wine cellar, modern bakery. Formed at the Viti de Beaune, the young Sebastien Magnien practices an ultra-reasoned culture. The treatments it applies to its 11 hectares of vineyards distributed in Meloisey, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny and Saint Romain are limited to strictly necessary. Some wines, like the High Côtes de Beaune Clos de la Perrière, are produced by vineyards over 50 years old, old vines on which Sébastien Magnien exercises his talents. To find out.

Located in the charming and charming little streets of Nolay, François Bergeret's house is very welcoming. Small inner courtyard, typical stone walls of the region, beautiful wine cellar… This young winemaker comes from a large family of Nolay. Its 9 hectares of vineyards are spread over Nolay, Beaune, Pommare and Auxey-Duresses. Very present on the ground and very attentive to the needs of consumers, François Bergeret works his vines in a reasoned culture and does not hesitate to move the harvest, sometimes within the same parcel, to obtain the maturity of the perfect grapes! Quality welcome, certified by the Welcome to la Ferme label, and truly correct prices. Please note that the area can host you in your cottage.
