The liquorist Michel Bouillon offers two liqueurs with delicious aromas: M.intense Crème de macaron, and M.intense Crème de macaron Caramel à la fleur de sel, pleasant as a coulis on a dessert or as a coffee sprout. The brewery also makes La Madelonne and La Béole under contract. The name "lupulus" refers to the wolves that used to inhabit the Ardennes and to the Latin word for hops, "humulus lupulus", which translates literally as "humble little wolf".

Gaumaise, Double Blonde, Spéciale Blonde and Brune The Gigi family's small brewery is in Gérouville in southern Belgium near the French border. Surrounded by a superb estate, La Falize is a four-century-old building that has seen Philippe IV of Spain and William of Orange. Michèle Prunier is the mom who, urged on by her son Christophe, opened her chocolate shop in 2018 in Herstal. Christophe and his partner Coralline then left to train with top chefs, before returning to Liège to open a second boutique. Chocolates, macaroons and pastries compete for the counter space.
