Read moreThe Université du Travail Paul Pastur is an educational institution located in Charleroi. It comprises three secondary schools, four schools for social advancement and a six-category high school. Founded in 1903 by Paul Pastur, the institution currently welcomes over 10,000 pupils and students. The university's two oldest buildings, the Gramme building constructed in 1907 by Albert and Alexis Dumont and the Solvay building constructed in 1911 by Gabriel Devreux, have been listed since 2004. The Solvay building currently houses BPS22, a contemporary art space. The university does not award degrees in its own name, as it is an institution of the Province of Hainaut.
