Formulas adapted to each one, from toddlers to adults, and from dishes that blend classical home, such as the famous Andouillette de Troyes, white cheese faisselle or apple pie, with seasonal dishes such as this summer melon or this of black straw to piment and apricots. Fresh beef pieces, generous salads, a cod salmon duo in papillotte, not to mention the vegetables and to the chosen choice, before cracking for a Straw café. Nostalgia has beautiful days ahead of it, especially in good cuisine. In the passage of the Grande Street, the pots are already out and inside, in a first room, you are immersed in the atmosphere of a grocery store of the 50 s. Balance on the counter, advertising plates, various objects, our parents are found there and we discover the suggestions of the day in the black table. It is well seen and well prepared, carried out on the spot with fresh products and one will pass through the kitchens to persuade them! The map changes often, but in memory of this spring, a melon Delicious and its éclats of crispy ham ham, a Verrine de caviar d'aubergines and its mozzarella emulsion are cited in memory of this spring; A Veau of calf, Magret of canard duck or Pan of almond, coriander and anise gambas. A quite trendy address, highlighting - but it is not an innovation for the Bistro - our best local produce. At Comptoir, it is the more contemporary idea of "snacking" that appears. But a high range snacking, not in the service, since you have to go to the counter to get your orders, but the quality of the dishes proposed. Fabulous homemade charcuterie and foie gras of the same barrel, white ham with truffle or raw Iberian ham Bellota, salmon Tartar, cheeses from Lassagne perfectly refined with the cut... The slate continues to please our tastebuds. Frankly, we enjoy it, even if the prices are consequently. The other happiness of the place, it is that this address could also appear in our Bars à vins section. More than 200 wine by the glass references served at good temperature, here they propose to drink less (well for those who want it...) but better (for everyone!). Warm setting, friendly team, quality ingredients, this Comptoir understands all of our urban desires turned towards the countryside. Futé likes it.

Considering how long we hear, first by our parents, then by our wife, that we can get lost at "Chez Plumeau", frankly, what a happiness to have a brand offering us a refuge with such wide opening hours! At Chez Plumeau, snacks and wine bar, you feel good. A little as at home near very chic Brotteaux, in this cosy and familiar interior at the same time. It's simple, once settled down at the bar, right in front of the green staircase, you would readily prolong your delicacy day by enjoying a new glass of wine whereas our dish is empty for a long time. And if it is empty, it means that it was filled with good things at the mealtime. In summer slate menu, a Caesar salad, a Limoux flank steak with shallot and its sautéed apples, beef tartare, a pistachio in sausage sauce with wine and a caponata in Sicilian way, before treating yourself with a simple strawberry dish. The whole accompanied by a good bottle (or just one glass) of Burgundy duly chosen or of a Côtes-du-Rhône wine of the owner. Homemade dishes and table d'hôte, fine wine and good food, every effort is made so that you feel at ease, even if you have a nice moustache. Let's get lost at Chez Plumeau!

The name seems to stand up on itself. Have we found "the" House? The one that would make us forget all the others (and they are many in Lyon)? This Maison is a magical setting on the left bank of the Rhône with the Musée des Confluences just on the other side of the Raymond Barre bridge, and boasts a beautiful terrace naturally shaded by large plane trees. There is even a winter garden to enjoy an exceptional environment in this neighbourhood of Halle Tony Garnier where buildings are pulling together. A "néo-bourgeoise" Maison where senior executives play petanque before lunch. The interior enjoys a contemporary design by François Dumas. Beautiful, simple and contemporary, intimate, cosy, comfortable and refined, a real success. As for the cuisine, chef Laurent Vernet takes pleasure in reinventing the “gastronomic brasserie” with the seasons. Freshness and flavour of traditional dishes revisited with beautiful touches of originality. You will find on the à la carte menu small shrimp spring rolls with Thai basil sauce, grilled aubergine “by Josper” and vitello pesto rosso. Veal chop in pastry with Parmesan, a timeless classical beef tartare, 7-hour cooked lamb shoulder or a whole farm-bred duck fillet with stuffed with Parma with spice sauces. Do not miss the “La Maison” cream puff with salted butter caramel. Wine and spirits list accordingly. You can prolong the game with a surprising cocktail list.

In the fantastic universe of Old Lyon, where you cross strange animals, here is a Chimera. A fabulous beast, the Chimera also designates an attractive project, but unworkable… Fortunately for the greedy, this Chimera saw the day (finally, especially at night, since the establishment is open every evening and only on weekends at noon) to offer us a quality kitchen that one could describe as warm to the image of the decor. A setting a baroque strand by a mixture of genres that must be guessed under the sifted light of the places. Tables and chairs, carpets, candleholder, small objects of decoration, decoration to give up with a vaulted room in the basement with its bright bar. It's beautiful and it's good, in the same spirit of nous with dishes that are changing Façon. The lyonnaiseries are present with a black boudin Tatin with apples or meurettes eggs to start. Follow a brochet brochet sauce or the calf kidneys poêlés en in persillade. Seasonal dishes are more creative with a tataki fresh tuna tataki to roasted sesame seeds, its wasabi emulsion, followed by a vanilla-infused burbot tail. Everything is done home, from vegetarian risotto to seasonal vegetables in season praline to finish. A real Chimera with refined tastes.

In its reservoir of good addresses, Petit Futé has selected Réservoir as one of its best addresses. Réservoir, called in tribute to the nearby Garage, it is the house of Franck, a man who does not do things by half. Great heart to receive us -adorable service but always very professional-, Frank has decorated his Réservoir of old cans, jerricans and hoists on a white and light background to give a style cheerfully offset to the whole. Another example, the lantern-lit toilets. Terrace, room and mezzanine welcome us with open arms, even groups that can organise meals in a private lounge. Homemade cuisine prepared with quality products for simple and good dishes, such as these famous homemade burgers, a treat (high quality meat for all dishes), with mozzarella and bacon burger this summer. But also, a homemade beef tartare also served with homemade fresh fries, of course, a gravlax salmon to vary the pleasures, a tuna risotto with golden sesame and desserts… homemade of course. Don't miss the Blind Test evening and weekend live concerts to spend an excellent time. A Réservoir that is full of well-deserved compliments.

Apparently, rue Mercière is not the one we think of when we are looking for novelties. Full of strong institutions in charge of feeding, with more or less joy, Lyon residents but mostly visitors come in gourmet territory, rue Mercière is not popular to change establishments. This year, it is a bit of revolution, especially in the "heart" of the street, on the "old" side (you will notice that the Saone side of rue Mercière is much older than the Rhone side, transformed at the opening of the Peninsula main streets). Among the newest, the Fiston. This "fiston (son)" is Julien Dargaud, fell into the cauldron of the kitchen from his childhood. In a place tastefully decorated by Pierre Chaduc, the Fiston offers a traditional, tasty and inexpensive cuisine... All you need to be delighted without resistance. Futé advises to start on the terrace by sharing a board of Fiston. Then, attack with an Emulsion of crustaceans and its prawns blazed with cognac. To be followed with well composed salads, a homemade burger, a pasta shells cocotte, parmiggiano reggiano and truffled ham or a must-eat Camembert roasted in the oven, new potatoes, raw ham and salad. Fiston other delicacies, tartares and carpaccios, Angus flank steak or a royal seabream fillet sauce trumpets of the death. Crème brûlée with vanilla and tiramisu with red fruits to prolong the pleasure of being in a Mercière street that became very reputable.

This year again, and for the ninth consecutive year, 1.2.3. may show that it is recommended by Petit Smart. The following question for our readers: why recommend this address rather than the many others that populate this plot? First, like the others, because it benefits from a unique situation in the heart of Old Lyon, the Renaissance district classified as world heritage by UNESCO and that the charm of this place, as well as its natural freshness (even in summer), makes it a unique establishment of its kind. Then, because the reception is cordial, the friendly atmosphere, and that you don't jump over, as happens elsewhere… by appâtant with promises that will not be kept. It is therefore set on the terrace, with a mandatory red and white tile, or in a room that takes on all the traditional cap codes. Please note that the restaurant's brand name is a épis of wheat, as it could be made available to the riders. Side card, we keep the best of lyon specialities: Lyon salad, brains of canut apples, andouillette mustard sauce, sapper apron, Forest sauce Nantua and half saint Marcellin finish. A pot of coast or morgon and happiness is complete. 1.2.3. , an address you can count on.

Close to Jean Macé station, on a quiet street, the Counter Jayet offers an invitation to take its time to enjoy the beautiful inner terrace, sheltered from any agitation. The room is not bad either, with its nice counter where one likes to linger, and the kitchen has nothing to hide. Little caveat on the day of our visit, a little overloaded service - yet we were not many - and a charming young girl between the kitchen, the room and the terrace. The card is season, with a formula of the day served midday and evening - it is rare - and fresh quality products cooked home by a passionate chef. On the day's menu this summer a little too hot, a Tatin of tomatoes in balsamic vinegar, mozzarella, little provençal stuffed, to finish with a burnt cream with a scent of lavender. It's cool and it's good! The Counter also offers gourmet suggestions: sweet salad in duck fatty liver, smoked magret, gizzard conflict and mesclun to walnut oil, charolais beef tartar, fresh fries or a unravelled of raie line à to the shallot. A neighborhood address that deserves the move.

With an ensign with "popular" sounds, some feel bad the House Marcelle in the heart of the very select 6 ^th arrondissement. And yet, this is where the bar-restaurant, where you're so comfortable at the time of coffee-growing, is at the moment. The House Marcelle is a real district bar with its large counter where you can chat by sharing in evening a gourmet dish and a good glass of wine. It should be said that the bottles are carefully selected and that they are displayed with different containers on a large slate that are devours. The bar is one thing and the boss's case, Jean-Luc Sibeud. With a high quality chef, everything is home. In a charming setting, a blend of nostalgia and avant-garde (we speak of lights), we come to midday with a formula of the day at a price that is challenging competition in the neighborhood. You need to look at the evenings where the cool frogs accompany a succulent pick before going to a Norwegian omelet. True gourmet and generous cuisine, as Lyon mothers once did. And of course, a consistent wine map to accompany everything. A Maison Marcelle that appears as one of the best addresses of the 6 ^th.

On the Rive-Neuve side of the Old Port, this restaurant has existed for many years and is a good example of what the restaurant offer was like a few years ago. Too high prices, a menu that is far too extensive. Only the service is smiling and, we want to say, still happy. The emblematic dishes of Marseille and Provence are on the menu. But what can we say about the mussels and fries which are far too expensive or the vegetarian plate which consists of grilled vegetables for a high price. It's time to rethink the menu.

Futé congratulates Le Dandy for having managed to impose its style in a central neighbourhood, right next to Palais du Commerce, and yet it's not that easy to highlight. Le Dandy's asset is first of all the welcome and the perfect service. Wide opening hours, but mostly great smiles and a real passion of the welcome team which may even touch an expert accountant. There is always room in this great Dandy, on the terrace or in the room that hides some secrets (especially during lively evenings), which has managed to update a carefully crafted brasserie menu. This summer, salads (Caesar, Gourmande, Perigordine, Pêcheur…) have had our preference, but the eggs in Burgundy red wine sauce can delight us in any season. A rather short menu for a brasserie, but guarantees the quality of the dishes: Dandy Burger, pan-fried beef filet with morel sauce, a whole fish of the day roasted with virgin olive oil, a fisherman's risotto, Lyon specialities like an andouillette gratin served with her gratin Dauphinois or a calf's liver seasoned with parsley. Fresh fruit salad, a delicious gourmet coffee and homemade ice-cream. Interesting wine list. Meal, drink, afterwork and even evening party, Le Dandy won the bet and is part of the gourmet countryside landscape.

There is no doubt that the "pasta bar" concept is a good idea for children - we often demand it - than adults who do not have time, or the means, or even envy, to settle in a traditional restaurant. Nooï, which is to be delivered to you, has close to 50 franchised establishments in the hexagon and attracts young people from nearby high school as well as a larger public in search of a good quality meal. It should be said that with menus from 5,30 € for an average ticket below 10 €, Nooï offers, in a colourful and pleasant setting, a fast service, a high quality raw material and attractive rates, especially at the time of a busy lunch. But what happens in the proposed two-size boxes, 750 and 920 (to make a big bite!)? Pasta cooked "al dente", sauces to choose from a dozen (pesto, bollywood, crazy cheezy, so fish so good…) and ingredients like cheeses. There is a drink and/or dessert (donuts, brownie, panacotta, tiramisu…) and a cheap menu, more balanced than fast food, will give us energy for the rest of the day or night! A fresh idea to eat fast and well.

As buddies share everything, Petit Futé shares its good addresses with its loyal readers. In this lively area around the Bourse du Travail and the nearby court, there are many restaurants. And when you have to choose, you have to follow Futé at Les Compères, undoubtedly one of the best "plans" of the sector. Beautiful terrace sheltered by a small vegetable hedge, terrace that extends towards the small park on the other side of the building. A cosy bistro-style which readily immerses us in a time that those under 20 years old cannot know. Warm welcome, even in case of crowds, or every Sunday for lunch -practical, Les Compères are open every day for lunch- when the rest of the neighbourhood is quiet. Homemade cuisine made with seasonal products and dishes available on the slate for all desires: Lyonnaise tart with sausage and Saint-Marcellin cheese, Crêtoise Salad for freshness, Croustade des carnivores or salmon tartare with dill for starter. Charolais beef tartare with razor clam, scallops cake with smoked salmon and spinaches or a bell pepper stuffed with beef and poultry. You can sweetly end with a chocolate fondant or a homemade pie. Friendly wine list. An address that opens for dinner according to the schedule of the shows at the Bourse du Travail.

At the end of the beautiful footbridge facing the law courts, benefiting from a new terrace on Quai de Saone, Buvette Saint-Antoine is not really a recent address, since it has been the "Lyon inhabitants' meeting place" since 1872! Yes, but, it's a place which we have abandoned in favour of the new banks of the Rhone which offer a more pleasant setting all the same, let's admit it. As time goes by, the banks of Saône was restored at the same time as this famous Bar which has found a new lease of life. On summer evenings, open-air café atmosphere with music and well-served seafood, but still pleasant snacks with salads which are largely worth others, ideal boards to accompany an aperitif, like this whole sausage or toasted spread available according to all the desires, without forgetting the ice-creams and the beautiful drink menu and a wide range of champagne. There are many "all inclusive" package to enjoy on the Quai de Saône within a very nice atmosphere.

Le Grand Café Lyonnais is first of all a place at the corner of rue des Marronniers and rue de la Barre opening onto the huge place Bellecour. The terrace is not the most attractive in the neighbourhood, but you can sit inside to discover the cuisine of a chef we know, Roger Jaloux. One of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France 1976 (and member of the Toques Blanches) does what he does best: a bourgeois cuisine learned at Paul Bocuse where he officiated for nearly 40 years (it was one of the first apprentices with other great names of the Lyonn cuisine like Marguin or Orsi). In short, the chef knows his business and allows gourmands - and the several tourists roaming the neighbourhood - to revisit the Lyon classics: poached eggs in meurette way, pike quenelle, andouillette braised with shallot, without forgetting the sauerkraut coming straight from Gast's. You conclude with a waffle like Grand'Mère's and its chocolate cream and Chantilly cream. An establishment open with wide schedule, where you can quench your thirst before roaming the streets and prolonging the break.
