"Small institution of the 6th ", "hidden restaurant", that's how the regulars name the restaurant-broker Fleur de Sel. Located in a small street perpendicular to the rue Breteuil. Regulars who faithfully preserve the address of this restaurant-cantine. Mom in the kitchen, dad at the cash register and their son Maxime in the dining room; a family restaurant that has been running for 12 years and offers traditional cuisine in a roadhouse atmosphere. Restaurateurs but also bargain hunters, the owners take care of their interior: rustic buffets, Vichy tablecloths, knickknacks, enamel plates. The place is small, charming and friendly. Every lunchtime is a family meal. Two dining rooms to enjoy: the kitchen or the dining room. On the menu, simple, good and no-fuss dishes: royal, ham and cheese or anchovy pizzas, tomato brousse pesto or roquefort and raw ham tagliatelle and Niçoise or ocean salads among other classics. That day, the dish of the day was a ceviche of sea bream served with a crisp salad! For dessert, the great classics are again available with pleasure and nostalgia: fruit salad, egg flan, pear charlotte. Cacio e pepe - Pâte pas du tout salé et un peu trop cuite avec pas assez de sauce. Sans saucisse ce plat sera immangeable.
Service - on a à peine eu l’ardoise quand un deuxième serveur vient nous l’enlever car «c’est la seule du restaurant et il y a une table de cinq qui en ont besoin». Peut-être juste un cas isolé?
Peut-être pas mal pour déjeuner si vous travaillez à côté, mais ne vaut pas la peine de venir exprès.
