The museum traces the history of the Pont Transbordeur du Martrou, a suspension bridge and ski lift that crossed the Charente between Rochefort and Échillais in the early 20th century. The museum features interactive exhibits and information on the engineer Ferdinand Arnodin, who designed the bridge.
