On this road to the end of the world, which leads to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the Mediterranean, the Maison Méditerranéenne des Vins offers you a very wide range: 15,000 products, including 3,000 wine references alone. Here, wine merchants can advise you on hundreds of products from the Mediterranean arc. You'll also find crafts and local products such as delicate, fruity olive oils, honeys, fleur de sel, Camargue rice...

The cooperative cellar of Gaujac is a small cellar founded in 1928. The tasting and sales cellar is at the entrance to the village. Its cooperative winegrowers cultivate today 180 hectares of vines around the village in an area which is on the edge of the Côtes-du-Rhône appellation, at the foot of the Roman oppidum and bathed by the sun of the Gard, giving great wines with subtle and fruity bouquets. Authentic wines, with a great diversity of red, rosé and white wines, perfect for both small and large occasions.

Initially sold in pharmacies, Byrrh was soon exported beyond the borders under the title of "tonic and hygienic wine". This aperitif is elaborated thanks to skilful dosages of various aromatic plants, giving it sweet and bitter flavours, then aged for two to three years in oak tuns, one of which is the largest oak vat in the world: 1,200,000 litres! The cellars can be visited and as soon as the weather is fine, sound and light, dramatised visits and guided tours will tell you the incredible story of the Violet brothers.

It is along the banks of the Rhône Canal that you will find this house of delights. In the heart of the historic center, the establishment has been selling and delivering fine tannic wines for three generations. Late Muscat, tradition, rosé, sparkling, in grape juice... Also, the House offers customers products from the region, perfect for bringing back culinary souvenirs in a sunny basket to show your family and friends the treasures of Frontignan.

Created in 1895, the Maison Cazes has become the historical standard bearer of Roussillon viticulture. While remaining vigilant about the excellence of its wines produced with limited yields, it offers a wide range of bottles from Catalan terroirs covering 220 hectares, converted to organic and biodynamic agriculture over the last 20 years. During a visit, discover the warm and authentic tasting area and then plunge into the secrets of Roussillon winemaking, including a century-old tun room.

Worthy sons of Bacchus, Arthur Lallemand and Adrien Mingaud from Limoux transport us through their selection of wines into a universe of aromas and passion. The love of the land runs through their veins, and beyond being "wine selectors" they are also blenders and producers. They have opened a tasting, sales and exchange area in the heart of the bastide, highlighting the work of the most promising winegrowers, exalting the richness of the vintages unearthed. Entering the lair of the Cabanel house is to discover the Carcassonne of the 19th century with, in its courtyard, the superb ironwork marquee designed in 1868 in the Eiffel style. A historical place not to be missed, the place has inherited the secrets of the famous Micheline, a recipe dating back to the 4th century, and of the Or-Kina, a plant-based aperitif. It also produces a pastis 100% Carcassonne and the famous "Crème de Menthe" and "Crème de Citron".

Raphaël, a former sommelier and epicurean at heart, has just taken over this cellar, offering a wide selection of wines (300 references) from Languedoc, Côtes-du-Rhône, Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Loire, as well as foreign wines. A few favorites include Domaine Jeff Carrel's Les Darons, a red AOP Languedoc wine, a blend of several terroirs from very old vines. A concentrated, mineral wine with fine tannins. Also biodynamic wines. Wide choice of whiskies, rums, world beers and rare spirits (200 references). Thursday afterwork tastings. Oenology courses and taste workshops by prior arrangement. In this pedestrian street, friendly and lively - known as "des prisons" - the "Cave au Vin Vivant" is a meeting place for fine people where you can find a nugget of wine, share a glass, chat with regulars, and enjoy a concert that livens up the evening. The list of winegrowers associated with the Caves du Roussillon is not very long, but it is above all very prestigious. Leave Montpellier and follow the Larzac foothills into the heart of the Hérault valley. A pleasant path leads to the terraced vineyards of Montpeyroux, a village-castle nestled in unspoilt garrigue. It's here that the renowned wines of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, Languedocs d'altitude, Terrasses-du-Larzac and Montpeyroux have been produced since 1950. These wines have long had the ambition of obtaining "cru communal" status, supported by the region's 21 cooperative wineries.

The vine grows on the sand! Sand wines have been known and appreciated since the 14th century. This terroir produces an original wine with a subtle aroma in which the image of the sandy coast on which it was made is reflected, a barrier coastline that runs along the Gulf of Lion between Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and Cap d'Agde. The siliceous sands and limestone that make up the soil and the marine micro-climate constitute a natural environment, unique in France.

Jean Guizard and his team continue this address's tradition as a wine and spirits store. From 60-year-old vintage Armagnacs to whiskies, rums and beers, the store is well worth a visit. These enthusiasts present the very best of France's vineyards. From Languedoc with Chemin des Rêves in Pic-Saint-Loup, Mas d'Agamas in Terrasses du Larzac, to wines from the Loire Valley, Alsace, Provence, Côtes du Rhône and Champagne. This bodega (cellar) offers you good wine elaborated with passion by our Catalan wine growers, cheese and other gourmet products, but also conviviality and a lot of friendship in all simplicity. If you doubt it, just come every Sunday morning for the oyster and tapas aperitif. And every day, you can come to enjoy a glass of wine, a local beer and eat some tapas. Florence and José also organize from time to time concert aperitifs in the evening. A nice "good mood" address to remember.

Jarras is a sandy vineyard steeped in history. This estate produces a unique wine, made from vines planted in the sands of the Camargue. It offers you soft grey wines, pale coloured wines which reveal all their finesse... It is one of the most beautiful wine estates and is home to an incredible flora and fauna. You will discover this magnificent estate during a visit on board a small train. This guided tour continues with a visit to the historic cellars and ends with a tasting of the estate's wines.

On the pre-alpine funds, this land of terraces is suitable for vines. The co-operators produce wines from renowned countries and des Coteaux-du-Languedoc Terrace du Larzac. Often noted: La Cardabelle, with a beautiful purple colour that reveals a nose of ripe fig and spices. Well structured, it remains in mouth on a pleasant fruit taste. At the Chai du Languedoc, discover exceptional wines and products. For more than 30 years, Martine and Denis Andrieu have been sharing their passion for the arts of the table. A well known address for permanent tastings, especially under the patio in summer, but also for meetings with the wine growers of the Occitanie region. Of course, you can find wine at the property price, but also spirits, beers and a selection of delicatessen products from the region. Finally, the adjoining cheese shop will delight the taste buds of wine lovers.
