Aluna means in Kogi language: "Spirit of nature, moment of respite to think the world". A team of professionals, great connoisseurs of the area, mountain guides, Nordic walking guides, eco-tourism consultants, creators of stays (e.g. botanical with picking for gourmet preparation), is at your service. Small groups (max 8 people) and 100% nature are favored throughout France. Families are not left out, how about hiking with a donkey or living the life of a trapper for a weekend?

At first sight, the coulée of Bourianne can be connected with simple stone drain. However, this billion stones is actually a lava flows from a volcanic eruption, 6.5 million years ago. Time, the glaciations and water sculpted it gradually to share it into rocks with multiple forms. Sometimes cut, sometimes agglomerated, the width of coulée allowed a wide variety of shapes. A hike of 3 km allows you to approach to better enjoy the power of the elements.

This six-kilometer hike starts from Corent's esplanade and follows a blue markup. The trail invites you to discover the village of Corent, famous for its archeological wealth, its vineyards and old alleys, before bypassing the Puy. You will discover through this walk the old lake now almost dry and archeological excavations of the oppidum of Corent. This hike also offers beautiful views of the Puys chain and its volcanic formations. The walk is easy (120 m) but still requires good walking shoes, the sometimes rocky path can also be muddy. Count two hours.

This 2.2 km trail offers you to walk on the volcanic hillock on which the village of Usson was built. Among the most beautiful villages of France, Usson was for nearly 20 years the place of exile of Marguerite de Valois, wife of Henri IV. Today, the castle in which she was held no longer exists, but the village has many other resources. The path first takes you to visit the village itself, before going up to the statue of the Virgin to get a complete panorama of the surrounding mountains. It finally leads you to a façade of basaltic organs carved by the effect of time and rain.

Around the Richard de Bas Mill, two loops are dedicated to the theme of mills and papermaking. The Mill's Apprentice is a trail that can be walked with the whole family. The path is rich in information about architecture, the environment, water, the valley and its sounds... From May to September, children can start a treasure hunt with the magic map. The Chemin des Papetiers is a 2h30 walk along the Lagat stream. Spinning wheels are present along the circuit.

Follow in the footsteps of writer Robert Louis Stevenson (and his donkey Modestine) from Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille (historic starting point). Beware, the Chemin de Stevenson (or GR70) is no Sunday stroll! 4 territories, 14 stages, almost 250 km, a succession of positive and negative gradients... In short, it's enough to recharge your batteries for two weeks, while discovering magnificent landscapes. To get the most out of the experience, we recommend you take a donkey with you (several places offer this service).

Six tree climbing courses for children, beginners and advanced, installed in the forest. With monkey bridges, trapper ladders, giant steps... For beginners, paddle on the Sioule river. For the experienced, a ride in the bed of the Allier river, surrounded by a wild nature. You will also be able to enjoy amazing fully transparent boats of two and a half places. Stag and hen parties, birthdays, are organized.

Walking and cycling at the same time in the Auvergne has the gift of restoring energy to even the most tired. Let's put on our sneakers and join the Tatave team for a nice hike in the heart of the natural beauties of the Volvic region.

In the forest of Pinatelle, Sébastien Rouchy has created the Equi-nature village for one-day riders as well as for the more experienced. The chalets offer different levels of comfort with a hot tub and spa. Stalls are nearby. The center offers day or multi-day tours to explore the Parc régional des volcans or, further afield, the Cévennes or the Lot. In the summer, small pony rides will delight the children.

The Sancy-Green, the grand season mountain event organised by the City of Bourboule, consists of several tests or circuits ranging from 16 km for cadets to 42,5 km for the larger. A festive, friendly and popular atmosphere for a nice day dedicated to mountain biking.

The Corrida, as its name does not indicate since there is a tendency to believe in a bullfighting event, is a night run organized for the past two years at the end of November in Puy-en-Velay. Several features distinguish this race from the others. The first, it is open and accessible to all because its course is less than 8 kilometres long and crosses the city of Le Puy on a flat track. Children can choose between a 1 or 2.5 km course. The second is that everyone is invited to dress up. The third, runners will be able to discover a surprisingly bright atmosphere throughout the course. The fourth, a DJ will be present throughout the event. So, are you convinced? Why don't you put on your sneakers?

The green track takes over 15 kilometres of an old railway line from Bassignac to Cheyssac, passing through Ydes. The difference in altitude is very slight and the approaches are safe. Explanatory panels help you to understand the history of the place you are crossing and fitness areas punctuate the route to keep you stretching. It will delight sports enthusiasts and families.

Practical: the old train station of Ydes-Champagnac rents bikes, electric bikes, rollerblades and skates for all ages from the beginning of April to the end of October. Information on 04 71 78 76 33.

The game is similar to golf, but instead of propelling a ball with a club to make successive shots, you have to throw a disc with your arm, aiming one after the other at the 18 baskets lining the park. This requires concentration and dexterity, while checking that the path is clear before throwing so that there is no risk of hitting a passerby. The goal is to complete the course in a minimum number of throws. Accessible to all without particular physical aptitude. Initiations allow to master the technique.

Transformed into a "voie verte", this former railroad line offers an ideal setting for a pleasant bike ride, guiding you from Brives-Charensac to Solignac-sur-Loire (850 m above sea level). Spread over 13.8 km, the gentle 2% gradient makes for an easy ascent. You'll cross a 184 m viaduct and five illuminated tunnels, some of which are up to 1.5 km long, creating impressive and refreshing zones in summer. The route offers views of the Loire Valley, Mont Mézenc and Mont Meygal.

The pack donkey, gentle and generous, will take care of your luggage while bringing joy and delight to the children. Christophe and Rachel offer a wide range of hikes, starting from Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille. They will tailor-make an itinerary to suit your pace and preferences. On the first day, a 1h30 training session will allow you to get to know your new companion. For tours lasting several days, they can reserve quality accommodation that they know well.

Spend a day with family and friends in the Colettes forest. For thrill-seekers and fun-lovers, try your hand at one of the nine courses of different levels, three of which are test courses. In all, there are 80 platforms, around a hundred games and 26 independent zip lines, from 50 to 200 metres long, crossing the lake. The Accro-Sioule Kids includes five courses, two of which have a 100-metre zip line, designed exclusively for children from one metre upwards, and equipped with a continuous lifeline for maximum safety.

In the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park, Espace VTT N° 1 offers rental of mountain bikes, electric bikes and all-terrain scooters. Once you're equipped, you can set off on the various signposted circuits on offer, such as the Circuit du Moulin de la Rode(19 km) or the Circuit VTT Cade Les Améthystes ® (23 km). Another activity is orienteering, a fun way to discover the surrounding countryside. Everything you need for a green day out, just 15 minutes from Issoire!

The Devil Rock Discovery Trail (Shoehorn) is a 45 minute walk, close to the hamlet of La Flotte. Although there is no difficulty with access, walking shoes are always recommended. The trail is signposted, and it will lead you to the summit of Devil's Rocher. The view from the top is striking: the mountains of Cantal, Cézallier, Sancy and Mont Dore. Parking is provided at the beginning of the trail, as well as a picnic area. At the start of the walk, you move next to a slide.

On the heights of Montusclat, "in all directions" is a family walk of just over a kilometer where three playful "workshops" tell us a little more about the geology of the region: Pierriscope (view of the juices), Pierrotactile (the volcanic stones) and Pierrason (the singing of the phonolite). On the heights of Montusclat, this circuit starts in Notre-Dame de l'Étoile (chapel inaugurated in 1886, to thank God for saving Montusclat from the 1721 plague). Through the woods, we reach the village of Pouzouls Old, with its magnificent traditional farm roof roof. Please do not take the road directly left by leaving the forest (you must go straight into the village). A walk to make absolutely!

The Grotte cave is original in many ways. In a region that has little bearing, the cave was dug in lava flows (laminate deposits) at a few hundred meters. It is this dual distinction and the dedication of a passionné of prehistoric people who have saved her from an industrial exploitation. It has been used by men at different ages (15 000 years!) as hunting shelter. A wooden esplanade was set up in 2011 to welcome the public. A 2 km trail from the village (follow the indications Volcanoes en Liberté) and is punctuated with 3 interpretive panels.

These are two electric bike tours to do with the family on a beautiful day. To the north, the circuit of the Sioule, partly wooded, allows you to pass over two viaducts. It is the most popular and the shortest. In the south, the circuit of Gannat, crosses the agricultural plain of Limagne and the village of Saulzet, with a panoramic view of the countryside. If you really have time, you can complete the whole of the two circuits in 3 hours and 15 minutes. They also offer a day package with a bycicle in the morning and a canoe in the afternoon departing from Ebreuil.

At the tourist office you will find a map as well as an explanatory brochure that will allow you to discover the 5500 ha of the municipality, easily. In fact, the map lists the 85 hiking bars along the Bourbon roads, while the brochure explains the pictograms that appear on these bars, helping walkers develop their ideal hikes. At less cost, a beautiful way to discover the bourbonnais hedges landscape.

This is another way to discover Bourbon! More playful and original… At the departure of the Tourist Office, this rally proposes to carry out a picturesque journey, by teams of 2 or more, which walks in the heart of the most beautiful views of the corner, and of the bourbonnais heritage. A muette card is handed over to each team, accompanied by a set of photographs of architectural details and other curiosities, which is needed to be able to make progress in the rally. Some questions also spice the course! A good way to combine the useful to the pleasant, especially as gifts await participants on the finish line…

A few kilometres from the Ardèche river, between the Estables and the Chaudeyrolles, the La Roche Pointue, better known as the "Devil of the Devil", stands at an altitude of 1500 metres. Next to Mezenc and Alambre, the site offers 12 channels. It is ideal for beginners (rééquipé site in 2007), but the most experienced are their account. The view of the summit is impressive. Take care of weather (and night temperatures!), basaltic rock is often moist. For those who don't climb, the site is very pleasant for picnic. As for the name of the place, it is said that the devil would have planted his teeth in this part of Velay (look in the landscape around, there are two other "teeth").

Aurore, a professional and FFE examiner, offers rides and itinerant equestrian excursions in the northern Ardèche and Haute-Loire. Departures are guaranteed whatever the number of participants. These include 2-day trips to Lac de Devesset and 4-day tours of the Parc Naturel Régional du Pilat, all in the company of our loyal team of small, hardy, sure-footed horses and ponies. The company also organizes orienteering training and initiation days, with theory and hands-on practice in the great outdoors.

Behind this beautiful appellation there are two fishing ponds, both for beginners and for those who want to improve their fishing, fly, or blow fishing techniques. We find all sorts of fish in Josette's fish farm: a pond is home to rainbow trout and the second to fario trout and brook trout (or salmon). The atmosphere is family and beginners appreciate Josette's advice. There is no need for fishing and you can rent fishing rods on site (and buy bait). A beautiful fishing trip, with family, alone or among friends, in a rural rural setting. Children love, because they are almost sure to go back with a catch!

A wild and authentic setting to practise your leisure whether you are beginner or expert, on 6 lakes and many rivers of the Haute Artense. Here are many species of fish, predators and trout. Jérôme Gaillard, former manager of France's teams of fishing à la fly and instructor fishing guide of state, welcomes you in this fishing centre, starting point for your stay. You will find: fishing cards, a wide selection of fishing items, bait, advice of a pro on the best techniques and the best spots at the moment, the services of a team of fishing guides, the rental of all equipped boats, the rental of float, the rental of all the necessary equipment. Most: You can even repair your old equipment.

What if we were to use the return to get to, or get back to, the exercise? On March 25 th, the commune of Trevol will host the Trevoloise Traps, a sporting and convivial event that is expected to bring together some 250 athletes. 5 or 10 km, choose the best match, motify family and friends, and join the event! If the challenge is not very clear, however, several coasts will come to your race; You're warned!

Just outside the village of Chaudeyrolles a path begins 4 km that take you to the crater of Narces. Along the way, panels will explain the original and the use of peat which is found at the bottom of the crater, today drained. Same starting point, another trail of 4 km leads to the Signon mount. This hike is done in 1:45 but will allow you to discover another material, the losse, found in the construction industries Auvergne.

Carp sport fishing area in no-kill, now open to enthusiasts, day and night, on an area of 25 hectares, including 18 hectares in water for 10 fishing stations, in a rich and preserved natural environment. Common carp, mirror, koi and love, from 5 kg to 23 kg. Fish coming from approved fish farmers, free of all bites, rigorously selected for their potential of growth and/or their beauty. A small walk of 2 h in sous that makes it possible to win Capuchin. You can also join other paths such as the Doctors or Milles-Pis. Many other trails leave the station. This is the case of the Chemin-Roze road - the name of the two artists who created it - leading to the Grande Cascade.

This adventure park stretches across several hectares of forest overlooking the town of Saint-Nectaire, between forest and mountain. More than 100 high-perched workshops await adventurers in complete safety: monkey bridge, zip line, suspension bridge, Tarzan jump... With its four courses (including the marmoset course for toddlers) and its two via ferrata of 130 and 175 m, it is one of the largest parks in the region. A nice idea for birthdays, the courses can be enjoyed with the family as well as with friends.

It's a true haven of peace and relaxation in the heart of nature and on the water's edge. On sunny days, you can enjoy a swim and lunch with your feet up on the grass. In the snack bar, you'll find drinks, sandwiches, French fries, ice creams, pancakes... Children will have a blast in the playground, the inflatables, the skate park and the mini-golf. Older children can enjoy the pétanque, tennis and basketball courts, the fitness trail, fishing, walking and cycling. There's also a tree-climbing course for everyone.

In the heart of a pine forest, you'll find six courses of different levels and 700 meters of giant zip lines, including one 410 meters above the lake, the longest in the department. The more adventurous will appreciate the new black course with 12 workshops. For children, there's a beautiful tree house area with nets and slides without harnesses, including two new 15-step white courses. With more than 300 km of trails, the Cantalien massif is a huge playground for hikers. Walks in the heart of the mountains will make you discover grandiose landscapes. Like the GR 4, you can go for several days. Caution must be exercised. Despite its reputation as a "cow mountain", it requires the respect of some basic safety rules: adapted equipment, knowledge of the weather... Do not hesitate to contact the departmental hiking committee or local associations.

With its 9 courses, Martibusse Aventure is the ideal playground for lovers of acrobatics, zip lines and monkey bridges, in the heart of a magnificent pine forest. In addition to the breathtaking natural setting, you'll appreciate the diversity of the courses and their different levels of difficulty, from green to black. Mini adventurers need to be at least 1 m tall to safely access the Kids courses, and at least 1.30 m for the others. The outdoor laser game was a big hit last summer, and the upcoming treasure hunt promises to be a great time!

Jean-François Cassier is a sledding fanatic and has made it his profession. He has settled with his adorable pack - and his family - on the heights of Murat-le-Quaire. As the sled is only available when it snows, the rest of the time is devoted to wheeled sledding, cani-trotinnette or canirando. But above all, Jean-François prefers to spend time with the dogs, to get to know the Siberian huskies better and to learn how the pack works. In complete safety, the musher alternates experiences, between full gallop rides and very instructive discussions.

Opened in 2016, this 2,000^m2 indoor complex features ten badminton courts and two padel courts. This little brother of tennis boasts luxury floors and indirect lighting. As soon as the weather's fine, Manu sets up his Mobs near the river banks, offering a hilarious alternative to those wishing to explore the region in relaxed mode, to the delight of vintage Mobylette lovers. Helmet, gloves, fuel, anti-theft device and insurance are included in the rental price, but GPS is optional. Picnic lunches are provided for day trips. He also offers sightseeing tours, with the option of combining mobs, picnics, canoeing or mobs and a restaurant.

All summer long, the Vichy Community Children's Department organizes discovery courses that are both sporty and fun. All you have to do is sign up for a day with a meal or an afternoon without a meal. 24 places are available for 12 and 13 year olds and 24 places for 14 to 17 year olds. Perfect for discovering exciting and surprising activities, supervised by specialized animators. It also gives you the opportunity to learn to be more autonomous while having fun, to learn how to live in a group and to share good times together. Each week, two totally different themes are proposed according to age. Head in the air: Vertical Limit, climbing initiation, Via Corda, adventure course... Feet in the water: swimming pool, paddle, river descent, canoeing... Survival operation: plant recognition, setting up a camp, preparing a fire, bivouac... World sports : tchoukball, kin-ball, dacau-peteca, bubble soccer... US week : baseball, ultimate, flag soccer, cross country... Role play : a mission, a team of adventurers, tests leaving room for victory or failure... Street art : street art and skateboard initiation... Graine d'acteur : improvisation theater with a performance in front of an audience on Friday. On two wheels: agility course (mountain biking), greenway outing (mountain biking), bike park (BMX), mountain biking in the Bourbonnaise Mountains... depending on the weather conditions, and these are just a few examples.

Three fun outdoor activities for the whole family. Firstly, from age 3 upwards, seven accrobranche courses, including a double zip line 130 meters out and 110 meters back over the water. Then paintball from age 8 upwards, with small, specially-adapted launchers, or between adults with a compressed-air launcher, with unlimited paintballs for children (fixed price of 200 and 400 paintballs for adults). Finally, lasergames are available on the paintball grounds for children aged 7 and over and a minimum of 6 people. A snack bar is available.

Slide down a summer toboggan, cross the forest in the trees, test your agility at homeball and obstacle course, develop your senses on the barefoot trail... All these activities offered by the Chouette Parc have been designed for children aged 2 to 14. They move around the two-hectare park, following the activities and their desires. Need a break between two sporting challenges? Drinks, ice creams, pancakes, waffles, snacks and well-balanced meals can all be enjoyed on the terrace. The Puy-de-Dôme can be discovered by hiking, and by... electric scooter. Five routes are proposed of 10, 20 or 30 kilometers. Easily accessible, from 12 years old, they allow to realize an activity in family. Some of them include some technical passages, they will delight the most daring and sporty. The routes cross the magnificent landscapes such as the fairy chimneys, the rich nature of the Natura 2000 zone and the forests, the built heritage with the castles... Scooter, battery, helmet and gloves are provided during the ride.
