Created in 1930, it is ideally located on the heights of the city and offers a superb panorama. Its wooded and hilly course of 2,067 m and 9 holes is renowned for its challenging slopes, but very much appreciated by the technicians! The Mont-Dore Aventures park is located in the heart of the Capucin, in a forest that is over 100 years old. Users move from tree to tree by means of games, cables, wooden bridges, ropes, nets or by jumping from one platform to another and by zip lines of different lengths (about twenty from 30 to 150 meters long). Putting is an approach game where children and adults, amateur or experienced golfers, can have fun and measure themselves. It is a two-step course that is proposed here: two hours of pure happiness to walk twice the eleven greens of the site. The magic of this place will undoubtedly leave you wanting to return to this wild and generous nature. Very close to Aurillac, this golf course was set up by a handful of enthusiasts who knew how to make this place a family place, simple and friendly. Starting from the village of Saint-Priest-des-Champs, two trails lead to this beautiful waterfall and its 10-metre height: a short 3 km walk and a 9.5 km hike. Both offer a breath of fresh air in the Combrailles undergrowth. The complex includes a ludikpark (from 6 years), a babypark (from 2 years), pumptrack tracks, a slop style, a dirt zone for acrobatic and aerial tricks, an all-terrain wheelchair course, a washing and inflation station and a repair workshop, all surrounded by a cross-country loop of almost one kilometer. The GR89 is a hiking trail that refers to the writer and humanist Michel de Montaigne. Sport and literature become one! It is the path he took in 1581 to reach Bordeaux, from Rome. The itinerary takes up two themes that were dear to him: the journey and the meeting. On the Puy-de-Dômoise part, hikers discover the local heritage through quotations and extracts from the author's travel journal. The city of Clermont-Ferrand is crossed by 6 stages of the path, allowing to discover the richness of the territory: the Allier river at Pont-du-Château, the puy d'Anzelle at Cournon, the historical center of Clermont, the crossing of the Chaîne des Puys, etc.

With friends or family, go on an adventure in the Aydat forest. Just 35 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, Altiparc is set in a beautiful natural environment. The main asset of this hike is perhaps the variety of its panoramas. If it is customary to say that nature is discovering itself by walking, the Seven Oaks walk could not be better illustrated. Set up for six kilometres in a countryside favourable to the botanical discoveries… most of the hiking takes place in the Colbert reserve, which includes 110 of the 10 600 hectares of the forest of Tronçais - forest which, incidentally, is often regarded as the most beautiful of Europe. Step by step, you will discover seven of the forty classified oaks and who knows, maybe you will manage to differentiate them?

You don't need to take the train to discover the Bocage Bourbonnais on this old railway line. Velorails allow you to travel in an original and friendly way along the kilometres of now disused tracks. You can use the electric assistance or do without it, depending on your desire and courage. From the gigantic statues of the Asian pagoda of Noyant to the viaduct overhanging the pond of Messarges. It is precisely on the Saint-Étienne church that this path begins, and choose, we invite you to discover it at the beginning of June, when the orchids deploy their charm... Each year, also on this occasion, lovers of botany are found around a guided walking: you can admire nine different species of them.
