As soon as you take off, Jacques will answer your questions and describe all the treasures revealed by this extraordinary view of the sky: colourful fields of the Limagne plain, curves of volcanoes, lakes reflecting the sky, Romanesque churches, hidden houses. Two different tours are available. And if you want to offer a flight, Jacques has set up Windboxes available at several points of sale in the region.

This paragliding school offers training courses for tandem and paramotor microlights as well as first flights, half-day paragliding discovery courses - on the ground, plus tandem flight initiation -, 3-day paragliding initiation courses up to solo flight, 5-day initiation and progression courses, 5-day initiation piloting cage course, tandem microlight first flights The material is lent. You will also find some in the store, including second-hand.

First flights, school and pilots' club. The Aero Club team is there for everyone. Approved by the French Aeronautical Federation, the club can train new pilots and help them obtain a federal scholarship. A weather station of Météo France is installed on the base. Take a flight to discover the Auvergne volcanoes from the sky with Auvergne Montgolfière ! Flights are preferably made in the morning around 7 or 8 am to take advantage of the best weather conditions and the brightness of the sky. In summer, the best conditions are at 7am or 7pm. Baptisms and discovery flights last about an hour, that is to say a total duration of 2 to 3 hours with the preparation and the return to the take-off base. After landing, a vehicle will bring the neo-aeronauts back to the meeting point.

Contact Dominique and Jean Valli, president of the club, to test an original activity on one of the rare free flight departure runways of the Allier. The take-off site is located 300 meters from the station of the Loge des Gardes in the Bourbonnaise Mountain, where it is easy to park. The club is recognized by the French Federation of Free Flight Site Handicap. This allows the practice of this sport to people in wheelchair. For the moment, the club is open to members, but the project of baptisms is in progress. The club must acquire an adapted two-seater cart.

Founded in 1944, the Issoire - Le Broc aerodrome invites you to a baptism (discovery flight) to appreciate the sensations of a flight in a two-seater glider. At an altitude of 900 meters, enjoy 20 to 60 minutes in the air depending on the weather. It is also possible to opt for a 20-minute flight in a small plane (up to 3 passengers), always accompanied of course by an experienced pilot! Nothing like it to appreciate the beauty and richness of the Issoire region. You can also ask to fly towards the Sancy or the puy de Dôme.

Europe's longest zip line takes you over Super-Besse at top speed. With a length of 1,600 metres and a height difference of 240 metres, you're in for a 1.5-minute thrill 45 metres above the ground. Depending on your weight, you can reach a top speed of 120 km/h! In complete safety, solo or in duo, the experience promises to be unforgettable. Solo access to Fantasticable is permitted for children over 12, and duos (with an adult) for children aged 8 to 12. Online booking is recommended.

Héli Volcan offers panoramic helicopter flights of 10 to 30 minutes over Issoire, the Sancy massif and the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne. Feel like an adventurer? Take the "Pilot for a day" experience, a 15 or 30-minute initiation to flying over Issoire, during which you'll be at the controls of a helicopter!

The Auvergne Aero Club Association was founded in 1920. It is affiliated to the FFA (French Aeronautical Federation) and the French ultralight Federation. It has six single-engine tourist aircraft: five aircraft including two four-seaters (for travel and discovery activities), and a microlight. The aero-club provides flying courses and training, aerial walks to live or to offer (prices on the site). You can also visit the base and exchange with the team for any question.
