The Mont-Dore Aventures park is located in the heart of the Capucin, in a forest that is over 100 years old. Take a flight to discover the Auvergne volcanoes from the sky with Auvergne Montgolfière ! Different routes are mapped out, to be chosen according to your level: beginner or advanced. The departure is at the foot of the Val de Courre. On the tracks, go around the obstacles: slaloms, raised turns... Sensations guaranteed on board the Fatscoot. Once the course is finished, you go back up by the ski lift. This activity is accessible from 8 years old and can be practiced with the whole family.

Escape game, laser game, treasure hunt: so many leisure activities offered in the middle of nature by Sandra and Jacques. They have created a place that respects the environment: eco-responsible buildings, dry toilets, energy autonomy... The activities are fun and educational. Outdoor activities in summer and winter? Sancy Park has done it! Thrill-seekers will try out the zip line, unique in Auvergne. In summer, you can take to the skies with the tubby jump. Toboggan runs are open for children and adults. On sunny days, you can ride an all-terrain electric scooter or test your agility at the disc golf. Two activities are exclusively dedicated to children: the infernal tower which includes a climbing wall, a slide and a jump in the void and the snowmobile driving.

The biathlon track is a new feature at La Stèle in 2024: a 1 km track, a penalty ring, a shooting range for 10 m and 50 m shots are all part of the facilities. This activity is open to all. All you need to do in winter is master the basics of cross-country skiing. Individuals are accompanied by a certified instructor. Whichever activity you choose, you'll cross the forests and plains of the Sancy. The scenery is varied, and magnificent views of the Sancy, the Monts du Cantal and the Artense plateau await you. The on-site reception area offers a wide range of services, including an out-of-bagroom, sanitary facilities, sales of cross-country ski, snowshoe and biathlon passes, and equipment hire for all seasons: cross-country skis, snowshoes, sledges, bicycles, ski-wheels, rollerblades, scooters and draisiennes. There's also a tourist information office to help you organize your stay.

In 2024, the aquatic center got a facelift! The extension project has given it a complete makeover. A new swimming pool, a fun hall with slides, paddling pool and water games, an aquagym and aquabike pool, massage jets and a counter-current river complete the offer. For relaxation, head for the wellness area (jacuzzi, sauna, hammam...). Sporting activities are offered all year round by a team of entertainers and lifeguards, including swimming lessons, aquagym classes and birth preparation sessions.

Opened in 2016, this 2,000^m2 indoor complex features ten badminton courts and two padel courts. This little brother of tennis boasts luxury floors and indirect lighting. The changing rooms are equipped with lockers, showers and washbasins in an attractive wood decor, offering a warm atmosphere. Châtel-Guyon's racquetball center gets a facelift in 2020. On the tennis side, two indoor and two outdoor courts will delight competitors and Sunday players alike. Two indoor squash courts and two outdoor padel courts complete the new complex, which also features changing rooms and a club house. Reservations can be made online. Training sessions, courses, individual or group lessons...: thanks to Julien, a state-certified instructor, you can learn racquet sports at your own pace and at any age.

In summer and winter alike, the Pertuyzat - Pavin ski area is constantly evolving. It now includes a play park, a Nordic site, a nature area and a regional restaurant. The playground features a secure net course where you can climb, slide and jump your way through a variety of challenges. This activity is a must for all the family to share a unique moment. A brand-new pumptrack is accessible by mountain bike. It features a succession of bumps and turns for maximum technique and adventure. Hiking is also on offer.

In winter, the 76 km Nordic ski area is marked out, some by cross-country skiers and others by snowshoers. The scenery is magnificent, and some itineraries offer a view of Lac Pavin. Free-access trails are reserved for sledges.

Throughout the day, the La Table du Grand Duc restaurant welcomes sports enthusiasts young and old. On the menu are platters of local charcuterie and cheeses, soups, salads, burgers, truffade, dishes of the day... and in the afternoon, sweet treats include crêpes, waffles and more. Its name pays tribute to the former mayor of Clermont-Ferrand and resistance fighter, Gabriel Montpied (1944-1973). Located in the Champratel district in the north of the city, it was inaugurated in 1995. This stadium is the home of Clermont Foot, a professional club that now plays in Ligue 1. The stadium is gradually increasing its capacity. In 2024, it should accommodate 16,200 people, compared to 10,800 today, including 3,200 modular seats. The parking lot capacity will increase to 1,700 spaces. This will be only the beginning of a long transformation in three phases, with the objective of reaching a capacity of 30,000 spaces in the long term. Expansion work is scheduled to begin in 2023.

Starting from the village of Saint-Priest-des-Champs, two trails lead to this beautiful waterfall and its 10-metre height: a short 3 km walk and a 9.5 km hike. Both offer a breath of fresh air in the Combrailles undergrowth. Along the way, you'll come across the Pas de Saint-Martin, a legendary hoof trail said to have been left by the saint's horse as it passed by. In summer, it's hard to resist the temptation to dip your feet in the Auzelle, which forms a pool at the foot of the waterfall. The two paths form a loop.

This fishing guide instructor, regularly rewarded during competitions by trophies, is a specialist in sport fishing for carnivorous fish, by boat, in dams: drifting, vertical, handled, pulling. But also : trout fishing with natural baits, Pyrenean technique. He invites you to discover the most beautiful sites of Auvergne, to fish for carnivorous fish (pike perch, pike, perch) in the Truyère valley. His two favorite sectors are the Cantalian dams: Garabit Grand Val (1 100 ha) and Sarrans (1 200 ha). Carnivorous fish are abundant in these hydroelectric dams and guarantee unforgettable fishing trips.

The teacher exhibits his own works throughout France and provides a preparation for entry competitions to the Art Schools. The training centre is approved and referenced in Drouot. Students can also learn about the techniques of the travel book, and Gilles Cohendy himself published several of them, one on the Puy-de-Dôme in 2008.

Whether it be Pro B matches played by the JAV Clermont Métropole Basket, boxing galas, the prestigious All Star Perche meeting, or major judo, karate, wrestling or petanque competitions, there is always something going on in one of the eleven halls of this almost historic infrastructure. With more than 4,500 seats and 20,000 square meters of floor space, it is even possible to replace sweat and competition with music during concerts.

Since it opened its doors in February 2018, this café welcomes in joy and good humour all those who wish to learn or perfect their techniques in sewing, knitting, patchwork, embroidery.... In this world where reels, balls and knitting needles reign, people come to learn with experienced volunteers, enjoy a hot drink, share a moment of relaxation, friendliness and dexterity. Flax brings back the beautiful rue du Port with talent, attracts the eye of the passer-by, and affirms its vocation to democratize knitting, sewing and textile creation through a beautiful program of animations that can be followed on the Facebook page.

Every summer, inflatables are installed on Lac d'Hermine. Children must be able to swim to access them. Two new structures have been installed near the beach and are accessible to children aged 4 to 12. For the little ones, there's a range of suitable water sports equipment. Wetsuits and life jackets are provided. You can also rent pedalos, windsurfers, dinghies and kayaks. The beach is equipped and bathing is supervised.

The balneoludic pool includes a 25-meter sports area with 3 lines for swimmers and a fun area with massaging beds, jets and whirlpools for the whole family. Children will have fun in the aquasplash while parents can relax in the wellness area. The latter is fully equipped for relaxation with a sauna and a hammam. Numerous activities are offered for everyone: aquagym, aquabiking, aquakids, swimming lessons..

With its 9 courses, Martibusse Aventure is the ideal playground for lovers of acrobatics, zip lines and monkey bridges, in the heart of a magnificent pine forest. In addition to the breathtaking natural setting, you'll appreciate the diversity of the courses and their different levels of difficulty, from green to black. Mini adventurers need to be at least 1 m tall to safely access the Kids courses, and at least 1.30 m for the others. The outdoor laser game was a big hit last summer, and the upcoming treasure hunt promises to be a great time!

The GR89 is a hiking trail that refers to the writer and humanist Michel de Montaigne. Sport and literature become one! It is the path he took in 1581 to reach Bordeaux, from Rome. The itinerary takes up two themes that were dear to him: the journey and the meeting. On the Puy-de-Dômoise part, hikers discover the local heritage through quotations and extracts from the author's travel journal. The city of Clermont-Ferrand is crossed by 6 stages of the path, allowing to discover the richness of the territory: the Allier river at Pont-du-Château, the puy d'Anzelle at Cournon, the historical center of Clermont, the crossing of the Chaîne des Puys, etc.

A large 25-metre pool, a smaller 12-metre pool and a 7-metre paddling pool give everyone the chance to learn to swim, or just do a few laps in peace and quiet. A 36-meter-long slide adds a touch of fun. The pool is adapted for disabled swimmers. It has also been awarded the Tourisme et Handicap label. With friends or family, go on an adventure in the Aydat forest. Just 35 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, Altiparc is set in a beautiful natural environment. After a safety briefing, it's time for the many activities on offer: tree-to-tree high wire courses, monkey bridges, lianas, nets... This six-kilometer hike starts from Corent's esplanade and follows a blue markup. The trail invites you to discover the village of Corent, famous for its archeological wealth, its vineyards and old alleys, before bypassing the Puy. You will discover through this walk the old lake now almost dry and archeological excavations of the oppidum of Corent. This hike also offers beautiful views of the Puys chain and its volcanic formations. The walk is easy (120 m) but still requires good walking shoes, the sometimes rocky path can also be muddy. Count two hours.

This 2.2 km trail offers you to walk on the volcanic hillock on which the village of Usson was built. Among the most beautiful villages of France, Usson was for nearly 20 years the place of exile of Marguerite de Valois, wife of Henri IV. Today, the castle in which she was held no longer exists, but the village has many other resources. The path first takes you to visit the village itself, before going up to the statue of the Virgin to get a complete panorama of the surrounding mountains. It finally leads you to a façade of basaltic organs carved by the effect of time and rain.

Around the Richard de Bas Mill, two loops are dedicated to the theme of mills and papermaking. The Mill's Apprentice is a trail that can be walked with the whole family. The path is rich in information about architecture, the environment, water, the valley and its sounds... From May to September, children can start a treasure hunt with the magic map. The Chemin des Papetiers is a 2h30 walk along the Lagat stream. Spinning wheels are present along the circuit.

The Massif du Massif Association was first founded in 1985 following the Mountain Law, under the name Auvergne Ski de Fond. It is responsible for the coordination and enhancement of the northern areas of the Massif Central. Founded in 1944, the Issoire - Le Broc aerodrome invites you to a baptism (discovery flight) to appreciate the sensations of a flight in a two-seater glider. At an altitude of 900 meters, enjoy 20 to 60 minutes in the air depending on the weather. It is also possible to opt for a 20-minute flight in a small plane (up to 3 passengers), always accompanied of course by an experienced pilot! Nothing like it to appreciate the beauty and richness of the Issoire region. You can also ask to fly towards the Sancy or the puy de Dôme.

The Raquettes snowshoes is a day dedicated to raquette and good humour. Each year 500 and 700 participants participate in this mass hike in snowshoes from La Bourboule. Two courses are proposed. A hot tub and hot meal are offered to the participants. Don't miss this rendez-vous in Auvergne!

The Sancy-Green, the grand season mountain event organised by the City of Bourboule, consists of several tests or circuits ranging from 16 km for cadets to 42,5 km for the larger. A festive, friendly and popular atmosphere for a nice day dedicated to mountain biking.

Les petits crus offers a real experience around wines and cheeses. The La Prade lake is popular with anglers, as well as with the few holidaymakers who have discovered this somewhat secret spot. Many return year after year, seduced by the simple, gentle atmosphere. The summer luge track is located in the heart of the Parc des Léchades. The summer luge, also called bobsleigh by analogy with the bobsleigh, takes the basics of the winter luge. The summer luge, or how to take advantage of the slopes in the summer season, is a real thrill seeker. The stainless steel track, 520 meters long, offers children some great descents. Please note that children under 1.25 m must be accompanied by an adult.
