Combining the authenticity of the old stones of a house of tradition, a th century residence, located in the lower part of the city and the modern comfort of a house completely renovated by its new owners, the Hotel Restaurant Henri IV offers a charming stop in Champlitte. A renovated house that has preserved all its historical character by combining in its rooms of modern furniture (plasma screen…) to historical themes (Richelieu, Countess of Barry…), especially in the Henri IV suite which retains all its stamp. It has been 7 years since Véronique and Michel Béjeannin took over this house, which has been famous for 30 years thanks to Monique and Pierre Carpentier. Located near Lons on the road to Chalon-sur-Saône, the hostel now has a large and convenient car park. Inside, the decoration has been completely redesigned. Walls in blue and white tones, pretty armchairs, orange and white tablecloths. The room is elegant. At the table, Chef Michel sails between the Mediterranean where he practiced and his native Jura. This is how you will find as much a pike-perch biscuit in a fine crust and crayfish ravioli as a plate for tasting fish in bouillabaisse as in Marseille! A simple and effective concept: good products well worked, a beautiful menu that evolves with the seasons and natural wines (most of them organic). The beautiful terrace awaits you as soon as the weather is fine.

At the Charette Bistro, the trend is fashionable tradition! White leather tiles and chairs, the frame is comfortable and friendly. The chef proposes a cuisine from the local area of our regions: simple, changing dishes with a small point of modernity. Foie de foie gras and his jelly to passion, duck magret in Macvin, Blanquette blanquette and crayfish to small vegetables… The pleasure is as much in the presentation of plates as in the wedding of flavours. If the Chateaufarine area is hardly attractive compared to the city centre, it has the merit of having large spaces.
