The cellar of Beblenheim, managed by 170 families of cooperators and 46 employees, is immediately welcoming with its yellow half-timbered houses and its authentic inner courtyard full of greenery. Inside, one is transported by the history between the old exposed wooden press and the impressive wooden tuns. You can then enjoy (by appointment) a tasting of several of the estate's wines such as the pinot noir cuvée Passion or the crémant d'Alsace brut cuvée Prestige, which won a gold medal at the world's best sparkling wine competition in 2022.

If the Cave des Vignerons de Pfaffenheim is considered to be one of Alsace's highest quality wineries, it's thanks to a guiding principle that it has followed since 1955: favoring the terroir's imprint and encouraging good vineyard practices (integrated pest management, grassing, green harvesting...). This is where the grapes from the various grands crus, the flagship wines of the estate, are vinified. Cellar visits followed by tastings are scheduled every week.

Founded in 1959, this cooperative brings together nearly 80 winegrowers and 150 hectares of vines. Some plots are on the terroirs of the Grands Crus Ollwiller, Spiegel and Zinnkoepflé. The winery houses a museum and a shop stocked with regional products. The Soultz-Wuenheim wine trail and the vineyards of the Château d'Ollwiller are strong witnesses to the wine tourism developed here. The estate is undergoing organic conversion, with the first 2020 vintages!

Since its creation in 1955, the cooperative cellar of Turckheim has become one of the best references by producing wines faithful to their origins and with their own identity. It gathers about 216 wine growers who exploit 400 hectares of vineyards. Do not hesitate to consult the website of the cellar, it is very well designed. It lists the wines in various categories: Tradition, Reserve, Terroirs, Specialities, Grands Crus, Vendanges Tardives, Crémants d'Alsace, Bio... Moreover, the reception at the tasting and sales area is impeccable!

In a beautiful and warm space surrounded by light wood, the wine shop Contre-Pied will advise you for all occasions and be judicious on the food and wine pairing. Here, you will be able to acquire wines for your aperitif, for your business or family meals, or simply as a gift. As for beers, the choice is vast with a nice selection from the best microbreweries in France. Finally, lovers of spirits of all kinds will not be left out: gins, whiskies, armagnacs and great cognacs are plentiful.

Founded in 1957, this winery in the heart of the Route des Vins is the fruit of a collective of winegrowers who love their craft and offer wines from 140 ha spread over 3 neighboring villages. In their cellar, you can taste excellent wines from this union of talents: Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Praelatenberg, Crémant le Puits du Moine (Gilbert & Gaillard gold medal) or Riesling 2019 HVE Coteaux du Haut-Koenigsbourg, the best of Alsace's terroir!

It is a recognized and appreciated address in Alsace. More than 400^m2 of surface, with more than 2 000 references (wines, whiskies and rums) with magnificent petrus, beautiful series of old vintage Bordeaux. Accessible wines for all budgets but also some rarities including 2 very prestigious domains that only a few wine shops sell in France. Dugat and Jean-Louis Chave, for the connoisseurs. Our attention was also drawn to the hundred or so beer references, the hobby of Nicolas, a passionate brewer. It is difficult to summarize in a few lines the extent of the Relais des Vignes' range... The best is to go there directly and enjoy yourself!

The tasting cellar of the Cave de Hunawihr presents beautiful vintages from a vast mosaic of terroirs and recently adorned with new labels. They are regularly acclaimed by professionals. This is the case of the Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Rosacker stamped with a star in the Hachette Wine Guide. If you can't come to the store, don't hesitate to visit the online store which is very well designed: it even offers a sommelier advice service!

With over 400 wines and 400 spirits, as well as regional and local delicacies, this small boutique is sure to please! The conductor, a former restaurateur, knows perfectly how to harmonize food and wine pairings. Subtle, free-spirited and refined, he will give you the sound advice of a connoisseur who loves life. Mr. Kilzer is also an enlightened connoisseur of rum (some 100 references), which is rather rare in the region. At the turn of the year 2000, the Westhalten cellar and the Heim House became part of the Bennwihr cellar. It is from this happy merger that the name Bestheim was born, synonymous with terroirs rich in famous vintages and an association of complementary know-how! Today, the site is dedicated to the development and production of crémants. Just the return of things since the Westhalten cellar was one of the instigators of the Crémant d'Alsace appellation! The Maison Bentheim boutique presents wines from the best terroirs of the region. During your visit, you can discover the Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg 2019 (gold medal at the Berliner Wine Trophy) and the Crémant Grand Prestige 2015 (2 stars in the Guide Hachette des Vins). Among the new cuvées under the aegis of the Mondfangers, the Crémant "Qui chasse la lune récolte le Soleil" is a delicately fruity and aromatic wonder. Created in 1395 to ensure the institution's food self-sufficiency, this mythical site at the entrance to the Hospices Civils reminds us of a time when wine was considered a remedy. You can visit the site and see the world's oldest wine in barrels, as well as buy wines from Alsatian winegrower partners who donate part of their harvest to keep this institution running, with profits going to Strasbourg's university hospital. A must!

Wine merchant since 1976, long established in downtown Mulhouse, then in the Espale area of Sausheim, Georges Henner passed the reins to Emmanuel Nasti! A star of Alsace who settles in Sausheim, Georges Henner could not have dreamed of better for the takeover of this excellent house which saw enthusiasts but also neophytes who, in turn, passed on to the side of the enthusiasts thanks to Mr Henner's talent and choices. Emmanuel Nasti has embarked on a new epicurean adventure. The man, from Chambard to the hilarious pies flambéed with excellent 64° in Kaysesberg has just affixed, in a way, the stampfel Nasti on this elegant wine house.

Along with the Rue du Siphon address, Caves Baumann is the anchor point for many Mulhousians with a passion for fine wines. In the center of town, you'll find the store where you'll be served with a great deal of thoughtfulness and advice. You'll find everything, or almost everything, from small table wines to precious bottles offering excellent value for money. SYNVIRA works to perpetuate the profession of the Independent Winegrowers of Alsace. It has a store in Strasbourg at the Comptoir des Vignerons alsaciens. This wine advisor will guide you through its wide range of characterful wines, both French and foreign, as well as a wide selection of whiskies. The company also has a store in Strasbourg, at 16 rue Austerlitz.

The Domaine Kirmann, offers a tasting cellar and a restaurant. The owner, Olivier Kirmann, matures his wines in the cellar located under the restaurant. Dry and without residual sugars, the wines he offers are plentiful, but Olivier will be happy to guide you in your choice. For three generations, this 7.5 hectare estate (currently undergoing organic conversion) has been producing, with respect for the environment and using traditional winemaking techniques, high quality wines in a variety of vintages: Tradition (lively and easy-drinking wines), pinot noir (Rosé d'Alsace, Barrique..), Vieilles Vignes (Muscat, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer), Grand Cru (Riesling), Vendanges Tardives (Gewurztraminer) and Crémants d'Alsace (Blanc Brut, Rosé). As for the Kirmann restaurant, you can enjoy good regional dishes: sauerkraut, baeckeoffe, winegrower's pie, tartes flambées, meat, fish, foie gras and small dishes from the chef. Evening dances and folk concerts are regularly organised.

Founded in 1680 by Pierre Sparr, this venerable House produces a beautiful range of wines: Terroirs and lieux-dits, Grands Crus, Vendanges Tardives, Sélections de Grains Nobles, Crémants d'Alsace. You can discover these excellent wines at the cellar, 14 rue de Hoen, or at the store on the Wine Route. I especially like the Pinot Gris Grand Cru Mambourg and the Crémant Brut Clos Sainte Odile (100% chardonnay, vinified as an extra-brut): two little wonders with incomparable flavors!

Open to private customers, this drinks retail outlet was created by Les Brasseries de l'Ill. Pleasant and well-stocked, the store offers a wide range of wines, beers, rums and whiskies. As true enthusiasts, the sales staff know their products inside out and will guide you in your choices. From small local producers to major houses and estates, the range is vast. The spirits section showcases quality regional products, such as Alsatian whiskies, which are still too little known.
