From mid-January to the end of March, the Train des Alpes du Sud (Southern Alps Train) will take you to 23 resorts in the Southern Alps every Saturday and Sunday (except during school holidays) from Aix-en-Provence. This is a great initiative by the Region, in collaboration with TER SNCF, which allows the inhabitants of the Aix-en-Provence region to enjoy the snowy slopes or simply the beauty of the mountains. It's a combined ticket (train and shuttle) that takes you to the resort of your choice.

Aix-en-Provence's Sports Department is responsible for implementing the municipality's sports policy. Its aim is to encourage mass sports participation, manage and maintain sports facilities, support sports clubs, supervise sports activities for schoolchildren, young people in working-class neighborhoods and CCAS members, introduce young people to sporting disciplines, organize sporting events and support top-level sport. Every year, some 100,000 people use the city's sports facilities.

Paired with the Botanique botanical trail, you will find this playful area on the road leading to the camping «Les Trois Rivières», just before the bridge bridge (24,50 m). To teach young people the methods of exploring and studying the underground world is the goal of the club. Driven by a graduate instructor of the state patent, Caving Canyon Provence provides descents in particular in the Massif du Siou-Blanc and the Baume.

The Spéléo-Club de La Ciotat La Salamandre is an association founded in 1980 by young people with a passion for nature and adventure. For over 40 years, the club has been offering outings to discover the fabulous underground environment of Europe's majestic maritime cuesta. Whether you're a beginner or an expert in caving, their wide range of activities (caves, canyons, vertiginous trails...) cater for all levels and ages. Their unusual outings, such as the Fardeloup cave or the Michel Simon canyon, are ideal for thrills with friends or family.

Created on January 20, 1984, Spéléolus became a big club with over members! Caving, but also canyoning, via-ferrata and climbing. The club offers technical training to its speleologists, thanks to its climbing wall.

This multi-sports stadium is located in the heart of the city centre, a stone's throw from the tramway and bus stop, as well as the Vallier swimming pool. There is also a large car park next door, allowing you to park easily. The stadium is accessible to all but the practice of sports is strictly controlled. Too many people used to come here for walks or picnics because of the lack of green spaces in the centre. From now on, you can practice athletics on the track, practice team sports with friends on the central lawn.

This lovely pool located just a few minutes walk from the Pointe-Rouge harbour is the only outdoor pool in town. Open only in the summer for this reason, it is an ideal setting to cool off and allow your children to have fun in complete safety. The pool is ideally located, very close to the sea, which does not spoil the pleasure of going there. The swimming pool has two pools. Carqueiranne is home to the Galamaoud Association Spéléologique, which offers caving, canyoning, climbing, hiking and via ferrata. The club is active all year round in the karstic massifs for caving, as well as in all canyons and natural areas. Murs, a small town in the Vaucluse region, offers a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The Association Spéléologique Ambiance Spéléologique Mursoise offers caving initiations, outings and camps, enabling visitors to discover the region's underground wonders. In addition to caving, Murs also offers other activities such as escape games, fishing, golf, climbing, paragliding, adventure courses, via ferrata, paintball and mini-golf.

Founded in 1990, this school has demonstrated its seriousness and expertise. It is the ideal place to take the plunge when you want to get your boat license. Different options are available: the pleasure boat licence, coastal option, allowing you to sail up to 6 miles from the coast, and the offshore extension allowing you to go further offshore. Discover the ochre massif and the Luberon in a horse-drawn carriage with Olivier, from the Bruoux mines to the ochre path of Roussillon via the Conservatoire des Ocres. Olivier will tell you the story of this natural pigment mixed with the sands of the cliffs and the history of the local fauna and flora. The walk takes you through the typical hamlets of the region with a break for a tasting of fruit juices and wines from the surrounding estates. Olivier also organises visits to vineyards in the autumn or to fields of aromatic plants in the spring.

Elodie Tadon invites beginners and experienced riders to come and live their passion and waits for them with energy to share this sport. Two qualified teachers allow you to progress on horse or pony, from initiation to competition. Numerous activities are organised regularly, such as discipline discovery days. The centre also offers bio kinesiology sessions for riders and horses.

Tree climbing, paintball, speed cross, etc.: the activities in this adventure park are quite diversified. Nine courses in the trees, playful and amusing for children, sporting for the older ones, are dedicated to tree climbing as well as more than 125 workshops and games, with complete equipment provided. A nocturnal acro-branch is organized every Tuesday and Thursday in July and August. A relaxation area with a refreshment bar, under a shaded terrace, is at your disposal.

The pool is part of the «René Magnac» complex belonging to the Marseilles City Hall, which delegates management to DSP (Public service delegation). The swimming pool has extensive opening hours, Saturday and Sunday including, and opens early in the morning! CSPS also organize courses in Gym and others (get information at the swimming pool). A swimming school is also open for children as well as a section swimming with palm trees and a safe and rescue section. With 40 kilometres of slopes in the heart of the Mercantour National Park and in the Vallon valley, the northern area of Larche has everything to seduce the athletes - and the less sporty! You are upgrading on trails at varying levels of difficulty between 1700 and 2000 metres. Do we not feel tiny in this white and wild vastness?

For those who have had enough of overcrowded ski resorts: come and enjoy the pleasures of the snow in a setting devoid of any human presence. The Sauze area has 5 marked but ungroomed hiking trails in a preserved environment. Among them, some are even decorated with games of tracks to add a playful dimension to this activity already full of assets. If you are a beginner, we particularly recommend the "La Rente-Le Super Sauze-La Rente" circuit. Finally, you can be accompanied by a professional guide.

Situated between 1400 and 1600 metres of altitude, the northern area of Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye enjoys an exceptional location between iscles and larch forests. In all, 25 kilometres of cross-country ski runs and 5 km of snowshoe trails; what you spend and make progress at your pace, taking advantage of the performance of Lady Nature in his great white coat… Even if you are not a seasoned sportsman, you will see that the training will never have been so pleasant!

If snow were to stop the race on foot in winter, then something else will have to be found! The northern area of Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye, with its 8 kilometres of dammée track, allows you to start the trail and walk on snow. Rest assured, if these terms can impress, you can make progress at your own pace and according to your level! You are between 1400 and 1600 metres of altitude, in the beautiful course of this wild, preserved and snowy nature: Your usual jogging will suddenly seem far away!

The hike takes on a suddenly poetic dimension: the words sublimate the landscape, unless it is the other way around...

The Incontournable peninsula is located in the south of Hyères. If it is a resort par excellence, the peninsula has been able to preserve unspoilt and idyllic landscapes. Its few kilometres in length still require several hours to walk on foot, so La Petite Flotilla proposes to explore its beaches and cliffs in kayaking! At the departure of the Port or Niel port, you can embark on the kayak of your choice.

Inaugurated in 2013, the campsite Hyères - Îles d'Or has fourteen mountain bike circuits. These are very diverse landscapes covering these 100 kilometres of groomed trails, from family walks in the forest to steep sea trails. To better locate, four sectors were identified on the mainland: the site of the Maunière (6 circuits, 2 to 6 km), the Château site (Boucle loop: 5,4 km), the site of the Borrels (two circuits, 2,7 and 18 km) and finally the Velodrome site which includes an initiation loop, very short and slopes. But originality probably lies in the existence of four circuits on Porquerolles Island, from 6 km to 14 km. The description of each course is visible on the site of the Mairie de Hyères.

Do you feel like knowing the French coast from all angles? There is a lot to bet, however, that you haven't yet tried to walk through its coastline! This activity, which is all too often reserved for visitors of passage, nevertheless offers an original and new perspective on familiar landscapes. At the beginning of the Bandol base, you can rent a kayak at the time or half a day to explore Bandol Bay and why not that of Sanary? The brave can reach the Ile Rousse and the island of Bendor. Carved in limestone rock, the Laces offer their steep sides to the athletes. No need to be an athlete, however to approach them, this two-hour ATV circuit is accessible at all levels. As the mountain says rise, it will have to climb for a moment from the centre of Lafare to admire views of the northern and southern facades of the mountain chain. The itinerary goes in particular to three curiosities that deserve your attention: the Century Tower, St Christopher Chapel and the waterfalls of Lafare.

The canyon of the Nesque can be discovered by bicycle, by a 65 kilometers loop which connects the communes of Villes-sur-Auzon, Méthamis, Sault and Monieux. This itinerary on the side of the mountain is quite long and is reserved for sportsmen. However, you can approach it by sections to facilitate the walk. For example: only 6 kilometers separate Sault from Monieux. Take the opportunity to visit these two villages which offer beautiful panoramas on the valley.

The rounded silhouette of Mont Ventoux rises above Provence as to protect it. Its summit is the meeting point of the athletes who take advantage of its slopes in winter and summer. Once snow has fallen, the mountain turns into a ski resort, with several kilometres of signposted slopes for alpine skiing and Nordic skiing. A 8 kilometre snowshoe route also allows to discover Mont Ventoux in two hours. Almost reaching the summit, this circuit offers beautiful landscapes around the mount.

A symbol of Provence, lavender is the "blue gold" of the Luberon. To pay tribute, the commune of Sault has set up a five-kilometre discovery trail (possible on 8 and 12 km) at the edge of the village, showing every stage in the distillation of lavender from the moment it is planted. The loop is freely accessible, but the fields are only in bloom during the summer, so it would be a shame not to see their brilliant colors, and even more, to breathe in their intoxicating fragrance. What's more, the one-and-a-half-hour walk is very easy.

The town of Peyruis and its surrounding area are extremely suitable for bicycle rides. let us go back to the saddle! This circuit begins with the entrance of the camping Les Cicadas, and develops in the first part in the heart of an agricultural plain where fruit trees reign. Then it penstock the A 51 motorway over a few kilometres. The return to the village can be carried out through the various routes leading to your right: rallongez it or shortchange it as you wish.

Between good friends or with your toddlers, this easy ride by bike invites you to discover the corners of the Durance valley. At the beginning of the ruins of the Marquis de Piosin castle, at the top of the village of Peyruis, it then alternate between trails, trails, grimpettes and dishes. With pedal shots, it will take you successively near the Jas jas, remnant of a past peasant tradition, and then to the Pierre Planted. St. Roch Chapel, the Manosque Canal and the Lit bed (small rivers) will delight your short journey. You will then return to a good port by doing half-turn, simply!
