Chapelle-Saint-Ursin is a municipality of 3,000 inhabitants located about 7 km west of Bourges. The Saint-Ursin Church and two chapels of the xve century are the attractions of the municipality. The city also owes its expansion to the construction of the arms factory on its commune after the First World War by Louis Billant to complement that of the Prado in Bourges. The latter was born earlier in the war after the accident in the Butte-aux-Cailles arms factory in Paris. The city is better known today for its artisanal pulp mill, Fabre Pasta, which since 1996 and in the continuity of family know-how extends its development in France and abroad. Today, it offers a wide range of products while preserving its tradition of quality with original and taste flavors:after a rigorous selection of raw materials, pasta is crafted in a handy manner with respect for pure tradition, lamination or extrusion then drying at low temperature and long duration. Vegetables and spices, entirely natural, bring them flavors, odors and colors to vary the pleasures of gourmets. The stores in the region offer all of them.
