Part of the former principality of Boisbelle, Henrichemont was designed by the Duc de Sully, minister of Henry IV, and its name and central square link it to French history. Discover the salt fountain, named after the commercial exchanges that took place there, as well as the well that no artilleryman could reach thanks to its offset from the street axis, the doorway of the Hôtel de la Monnaie and the porch of the Hôtel du Bœuf (both 17th-century ), and finally the former fiscal prosecutor's house in rue Victor-Hugo (listed monument), with its remarkable arches and triangles adorning the tops of the doors.
