Located 10 kilometers from Vitré, the small town of Champeaux (500 inhabitants) has three architectural ensembles protected as historical monuments: the collegiate church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine (15th century), the château de l'Espinay (16th century) and the menhir of Haute-Pierre, located near the Feu Lambert. In the vicinity, you can soak up the typical bocage haut-Breton, and enjoy hiking, especially around the pond Cantache, which covers 25 hectares. The village is also surrounded by many hamlets and isolated farms
